LOL I must admit I often wonder about that when talking to leavers and their inability to defend Brexit.

 

We don't have a democracy - we're still ruled by Mrs Windsor and her brood, and a bunch of 800 + idiots in ewrmine who sit in the House of Lords. If that is abolished and Mrs Windsor done away with with an elected second chamber and an elected presidency, then and only then will we have a true democracy !!!

 

Did the people vote for Brexit 3 ish years ago or am I in a different universe? I may well be just quietly .

 

A Referendum does not solve the problem of an imperfect democracy !!!

Nothing to do with it matey, I've been arguing about our imperfect democracy even before Cameron chose to hold a referendum, and I still want a 'proper' democracy !!!

Wish people would see how strong our economy has actually been since the referendum compared to the likes of Germany and France, we can be a powerhouse of a little island without them dragging us down, and yes I do genuinely think that. Just my opinion of course and I understand how right all the other posters are on this thread so I apologise in advance for having an opinion lol

No - I'll change what we have here and have a 'Socialist' Republic !!! and who incidently are the monarchy ??? - Go back far enough into history and you'll find that the monarchs were merely a bigger and stronger bunch of robber barons than their neighbours !!! and tell me why I should doff by hat to what is merely one set of robber barons !!!
