The forums are slow. Is it because I left, is it because I am here or is it because we have competition from other hippy forums?

 

I haven't noticed.But I read something a while ago that Hip Forums has been ranked among the top 50,000 websites in the world,which is pretty impressive in my eyes.

 

Actually, back in 1986 when Skip started this site, it was amongst the top 125 sites in the entire world!
There were ofcourse a lot less sites back then and a lot more hippies (sadly a lot of hippies passed away over the years).

 

Personally,I think it's one of the best things on the internet.I mean,my bullshit is so well tolerated,and most of you are such nice interesting people.From 3rd of April I won't have internet access for a few weeks,so you will all have a break from me.I also need the break.It's just that I spend a lot of time alone and I consider a lot of you to be real friends in a way,even though sometimes the water does not compute.

I havent been on in quite sometime because the whole layout update was quite a shock to me. To be honest, I like the original version much better. Is there any way I can switch to original view?
