I don´t know what thread you are reading Madcrappie, but all I see are people who are impartial and stating that they dislike killing, torture, and other violent acts. No one is getting all riled against the Iraqis about this,we all seem aware that there are terrible things are happening all around.
Well, war is hell, and since I am not allowed (according to you) to be sad about anything that happens no matter how bad it is, then I am going to celebrate every time someone gets killed.
I'd rather not party with someone so completely insenstive as you. I'd rather party with people that actually care about others.
It's true all this insane shit's been going on for as far back as you want to look. I don't know if humanity's evolved an inch since history began. Maybe it's a good thing we have it in our face now, with media the way it is. Maybe now that the human race has to take a look at itself it'll change just out of embarrassment. The problem is it's all so easily manipulated and so are we.
look at the originator of this thread, interval_illusion. Its all about bleeding heart white trash who sit back and go along with the whole beheading thing. Thats what IM talking about. I have room to speak my mind dont I? what thread are you reading anyways?
Unfortunately, there will always be people who are never satisfied. They will always seek violence to try to make a point which with many is just violence for violence sake.
antithesis, you do not know me very well, For I am a very sensitive and caring person. You just did not get the satiristic humour of my last thread, too bad. yeah I feel sorry for the guy, but come on that stuff is bound to happen.
Well gee how do you think Iraqi parents feel when they see their children KILLED right in front of their eyes and not on some video. Nobody is over there defending you or your country from anything. Nobody in Iraq started this, all the blame lies at the front door of the White House. Before you start screaming 9/11, remember exactly WHO was responsible for that, cause it wasn't Iraq or Sadaam.
Here is a secret people: Interval didn't write that! It was a letter that someone else wrote! Hello! And yes, Marc, I think that we do have a lot in common, but I dont' think it's a bad thing
We might care about what we hear about, but we're only outraged by what we see. Which is kind of a weakness if you think about it; the media can tell us what to care about and what to forget just by what pictures they show us. If there'd been no video would we even be talking about this?
