The final week until the election thread!

It just turned midnight here on the West Coast so it's now officially election day. I can't sleep.

 

Lay in bed and listen to Hephatrump speeches - that'll help you sleep

Election day is finally here. So no more adds on tv. Now how long before we know who wins? Either way it's not the American people! Will it be another 4 years of the loser crying?

I'm nervous----I'm gonna consume between 7,000 and 100,000 calories for breakfast!!!!! And a barrel of coffee!!!

 

Sleeping, eating, fretting, wondering ain't gonna change a damn thing.

 

Obviously the time to discredit a politcal rival is AFTER millions of votes have been cast for him not in the months leading up the election when people may be undecided.

 

It's currently stuck at 224 votes for Biden and 213 for Trump. So at this point we don't know who will win, but we do know that it will be close, so we won't have the landslide we were hoping for. If Trump loses be prepared for him to tie it up in the courts with his challenges and recounts.

Now we've finally got here, I'm bored with watching the (non) results scrolling across the TV - thoroughly p*ssed off !!!

 

Yes I'm tired of it too. I turn on CNN every couple hours for an update, but it keeps showing no progress.

I did find one hilarious bright spot in this whole thing. While a lot of states are close to 50/50 and even more are around 60/40 one way or the other here is the percentage for Washington DC...

Biden now has 253 votes while Trump is still stuck at 213. So if Biden takes Arizona and Utah, two states where he's ahead, then he gets his 270 votes. Then Trump can start his legal process to try to overturn it, and his supporters can start rioting.

I have to say it pisses me off that this is a close election. After all Trump has done and said these past 4 years, that many people still support him?!

 

Yeah it hard to believe 4 years and 20,000 lies later, and still his supporters worship him like he was some kind of messiah

 

Got up in the middle of the night and checked on the election and there's been no change! Nothing since Biden took Michigan 12 hours ago! Now I can't get back to sleep! Oh the torture!

 

I'm beginning to wonder if Nevada and Arizona aren't in some sort of contest. Each is waiting for the other to give their votes to Biden, so they can then step and declare, "Biden wins! He's the President!" That would explain why they're counting so damn slowly. Arizona just took a full day to go from 88% to 90% reporting. Hopefully Biden will flip Georgia and then they'll both scramble to declare him the winner!
