    A tad picky, but thats kind of what it sounded like, im all for love.and peace...as long as everyone agrees with me

    As for Lennon, i dont like or dislike him, but its kind of the reason we arent going to change anything.The cult of celebrity, we are more likely to follow someone that is popular, good looking or says the things.we.want to hear. Rather than the ones that actually.do.

    Imagine is a great.song, but what really did Lennon do for such causs? Plenty of people at that time and since that have done far more to help the world.

    Hiw do you really know he wasnt just in it all for the money and the chics. At the time flower power was popular, hw do you know in his head the whole time he wasnt thinking along the lines of, yeah, ill write.a.song about peace, the hippies will lap that shit up, suckers, ill make even more money. As long as i put on the qct and never admit that out loud, ill get.away.with.it

    Humanity is working toward the realization of the fact that we are all interconnected and what affects one affects us all.

    If you study civilizations and governments you can see the trend away from competition for survival of the local tribe, state, or country; to co-operation with each other for survival of the world and all its individuals as a whole.

    This transition is chaotic as many local customs, prejudices, cautions and distrusts must be addressed. Also many developmental, connection, and distribution problems need to be overcome and practical means of accomplishment devised.

    Mindsets need to be altered through willful education and individual enlightenment as any "forced" or planned attempted will be viewed by many as an effort to set up a "New World Order" and violently resisted.

    The goal has only recently been seen or even contemplated as growing numbers have been freed from the need to vie with others for existence.

    As technology develops that allows mankind to live in peaceful co-existence, more and more will see that as a realistic end and work toward that goal.

    this definitely could be the case i by no means will say you are wrong but i just dont think it is true. if he cared about money so much he would be better served to keep the beatles together. even if that wasnt possible if he wanted money so much he would have toured more and not put yoko on his otherwise best album.

    it seems like it is more work to act like you dont care and are a protester than it would to just be more in the public eye and make money from your fame.

    (this is the end of my thoughts on the matter being i dont even remember him being alive because it was before my time. its just my opinion from what i know and have read and heard.)
