Hubs and I saw a awesomely huge female Red-Tailed Hawk today. I guess we normally see the males. I researched and found out that the females are up to 25% larger than the males. I suppose she topped out the statistics given which are 26 inches tall; 4.4 pounds; wingspan 52 inches.
