Murdock himself has said that he's "hands on" when it comes to his newspapers. He makes a lot of decisions for them, especially which candidates to back in elections (the ones who do his bidding, obviously, like Blair, Cameron and Bush).

The truth is, someone had to authorize all the expenses of the private investigator who seemed to do all the dirty work for the company. Over the years he must've been paid as much as an executive of the company, so it should've been very noticeable to anyone who gave a shit. Not to mention the payoffs to the police! How does that read in the accounts payable ledger?

UPDATE 7/15: Rebekah Brooks Resigns, Les Hinton, CEO of Dow Jones Resigns, Murdock Apologizes! FBI launches investigation of News Corp.

Yup, the shit is hitting the fan big time! The fallout from this may bring down Murdock's empire alright. I can see the advertisers fleeing now, just like they did to News of the World.

    James Murdock should be next...

In his honor (a bit prescient I suppose):

Yeah! But did they arrest her to keep her from testifying?

Perhaps someone should bail her out just in time for the Culture Committee to rip her a new one...

When will they arrest James and Rupert Murdock? Why are they running free, still able to spread lies about everything?

The more coverage this gets the less credibility they have to spread lies. If enough people get "inoculated" with the truth then the world can be made relatively immune to the propaganda.

    Who knows...

They told her on friday that they were coming to arrest her, which is also kind of odd.

I doubt it. The truth is always "out there", but so many people don't really want to be bothered to look for it. They want to be told what to think. It's so much easier than thinking for oneself.

Guess what? I can remember when Fox News actually reported news! That was like the first year or so they were in business.

What gets me is that Murdoch has made it clear that he wanted to restyle BSkyB and turn it into Fox News for the UK. He wanted to turn it into a political propaganda machine. Now he'll be lucky if he can keep his stake in the broadcaster.

Yes, they made an "appointment" to arrest her. Who the fuck does that? Can you imagine US law enforcement informing some terror suspect that they will be arresting them in a few days? Gotta give them time to get their affairs in order, right?

It's all a big show for the media. Like everything else there's always something going on behind the scenes that we don't know about.

And about the hacking the phone messages of murder victims? Does that not surely implicate you as a potential suspect in the crime?

If it were you or I, I think it just might...?

Check out this inside view of the News of the World. A culture of bullying and fear!

Hacking Whistleblower found dead! The guy who fingered Coulson as having ordered hacking at NOW and lying about it, is dead.

Looks like Murdoch's attempts to control the crisis has entered a deadly new phase. Perhaps this was done as a message to others to remain silent?

Funny how people who know too much end up dead in England....

    Who's next?

MPs from Labor are calling for Cameron to resign as Prime Minister.
