None of them. I get motion sick and throw up on all of them. I hold purses and strollers and eat polish sausage at the fair.
None...I go to buy drugs from the carneys. Then I wander around and look at the pretty lights and exhibits.
I don't think I've ever been to a decent fair. I'm a coaster person more than a spinny person anyway. Coasters don't seem to travel too well for obvious reasons.
since when do fairs travel? i've never seen a coaster at a fair either just for the record... like i said earlier, fairs in my area were about showing off kids' 4-H projects, buying overpriced food, and watching demolition derbies and harness racing...
The only fairs we get here are the ones included with the traveling carnivals. We have an amusement park, but the fair grounds don't have any rides except when they bring them in every year.
you don't have a county fair every year? i thought those happened in every county across the u.s. and i never even thought about the amusement park thing... the fairgrounds back home is only 20 minutes from cedar point; maybe that's at least partially why they never really bothered with the rides so much
I used to go to the Brooklin Spring Fair every summer in June. Would see everybody I knew, and more. My favourite ride is the first one in this pic: and also this one: I am the type that laughs uncontrollably on a ride.
I had a great time, I won two stuff animals road the tilt a-whirl a couple of times, had a beer saw some pigs and cows horse’s. Bought a dream catcher. That was enough for me.
Our fair will be here in a couple of weeks. I have not been to the fair in like maybe 4 years or so, hell, my girls have no desire to go so why go? I think though, that I may want to go this year. Maybe when the rodeo is here, there is nothing better than cowboys walking around with their nice hats and tight wranglers and ropers. (sigh) The bad things about fairs are the people, I mean really, I am not a big crowd type a person. you get shoved, talked to rudely, people push your kids, people are just idiots.
I like the haunted house rides...I just wish they were scarier. Cate: That first one is "the scrambler"
I think i like giant slides best, or ferris wheel I threw up once on a merry go round, but it was because I had just ridden some thing that spun around and had you upside down for a long time
