http://m.theweek.com/article/index/...ks&utm_medium=website&utm_campaign=speedreads Interesting, I've never owned them, I always thought they were a gimmick. But I know they are very popular with the barefoot running scene and some barefooters. The danger of making claims on a product. There's always someone who will buy into it and not benefit or even suffer negative results. .......................perhaps I should sue God for my feet, they suck when turning soil with my garden fork :clown: Sx
Hell's bells, some breakfast cereals claim they reduce the risk of heart attack (via fibers and vitamins). Anyone ever hear of CAVEAT EMPTOR? BTW, I love going barefoot (just to keep relevant).
Good riddance if they do disappear. Not the shoes themselves, which are no worse for you than other shoes, but the way that Vibram tried to cash in on the benefits of going barefoot and sell people the opposite of being barefoot promising that they would in fact be barefoot. That said, those who fell for it should take some responsibility too.
most of us aren't going to miss them. personally so far i've never ever spotted a couple of those cartoonish shoes, even in stores -not to mention ppl actually wearing them. a mostly grotesque piece of crap good for being rightfully laughed at. ssly, i'd feel like a moron in those things. even worse than bottomless shoes...
I have a pair in black and I like them. I bought them when they first came out and I should wear them more then I do. I won't mine my money back tho, hahahaha
I tried on some when they were first introduced. They made my feet sweat like crazy and so I never bought any. I have seen some folks wearing them. They do look a bit odd if if you are the wearer and you like them good for you.
i never thought they were ulgy or anything but to me it's not the same as being barefoot so i never wore them.
I have some pairs. I'm lucky to live in Austin where most ppl respect others ppl likes Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
