the omnikey ultra t can hot swap (qwerty to dvorak) on any computer (even mac, you just have to have the right cables) "das keyboard" uses ALPS switches (like the omnikey) but has 50 key buffering, hot swappable, and has gold contacts (unlike the iron in the ultra-t) so it doesn't corrode. it's definitely too much to pay for a keyboard, but, it's one of those things that once you've gotten all of your shit covered, it's something you can spend too much on And the model M has removeable keycaps, so it could be blank already although, both model m and omnikey letters, numbers, markings are all part of the keys, so they are not able to be removed from the keycaps (although the keycaps can be removed)
Someone has been cybering again... EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! I knew you were a screamer...
I can switch my normal keyboard back and forth from qwerty to dvorak too with the click of a mouse or the pressing of a hotkey. No extra cables required. It's a minor adjustment on your windows settings for every OS starting with 3.1..... Just sayin', you could save $130 for something way cooler. Edit: The gold contacts do make a difference, but I've needed a new keyboard once in 10 years....
