The Dutch Create the Real Big Brother

This is one of the main reasons I left Holland. It's now become so fascist, and even though the people don't like these new laws they seem powerless to stop their own government from throwing away their freedoms out of senseless fear.

I feel sorry for the Dutch. But they only have their own apathy to blame. There are two new generations who don't give a shit about such stuff (or maybe they will now that they must carry ID all the time). They've been too busy trying to satisfy their new found Dutch greed to worry about things like politics.

You get what you deserve! And unlike WWII, you had a choice in this matter. You could've elected a more liberal government, but you went with the conservatives. Now you're just a number in Big Brother's machinery, and once your number is tarnished (even by mistake), it'll follow you the rest of your life.

Meanwhile people must live in fear, not of terrorists but of your own police.

You've now joined the fucking fascist club!

 

So when is the next vote? Huh?

You can't get Balkenende out. Period.

He's in there because he represents the fascist elements of your society. He is a Bush puppet and won't leave until Bush is out of power. You're stuck with him and his fascist laws.

You think I'm crazy? No the Dutch government is crazy. And the Dutch themselves may FINALLY be waking up, but still most of you think he's just a cute Harry Potter who's gonna use his magic wand to wipe the terrorists away.

That's how seriously the Dutch think about politics these days.

Again, you deserve what you get.

So what if your government is trying to blow huge holes thru your precious socialist safety net. Isn't that what y'all want?

Same reason Bush is running America. Fascism is much more insidious than people realize. Together with the media, fascist governments can get away with almost anything, including taking a PEACEFUL, NEUTRAL country like the Netherlands to war in a far-off land based on lies.

 

I'm still waiting to see some SERIOUS debate here from the Dutch themselves. All they do is attack those who are not Dutch who bring up these points. The Dutch seem to think they're the only ones allowed to criticize their government. Yeah, meanwhile they're doin' a shitty job on the activist stage.

I personally know enough Dutch in their 20s & 30s who bitch a lot about the Moroccans, immigration, the ever increasing crime rate, and of course that terrible danger - terrorism. These people are the ones who support Balkenende (and Pim before him) cause their fascist agenda addresses these issues whereas a more progressive socialist agenda does not.

You Dutch gripe amongst yourselves, yet you don't seem to take responsibility for the consequences of having put fascists in power.

If there is some big change in public opinion, I'd like to see some references to polls that show that Balkenende is on his way out...

Let's see the Dutch start putting their actions where their mouths are...

I've figured out why this is true of so many Dutch 20 & 30 somethings. You guys are used to dumping your garbage all over the place, and expect someone else to pick up after you, just like at your raves & Queens Day. You're spoiled by your affluence, not willing to take responsibility for your actions. Garbage is for the garbage men to deal with and politics is for politicians to deal with, right?

Long as you got a secure job, social safety net, 6 weeks vacation a year, free health care (or not so free anymore), why should you complain? These things you take for granted, but the 20 & 30 somethings seem to be unaware of how hard the socialists of another generation fought to get these wonderful benefits that few other countries have (certainly not America).

I remember how the Dutch loved America and Americans. How you dressed like Americans and wanted to be like Americans. Big cars, Big houses, flashy clothes, are these traditional Dutch values? No these were imported values.

What you don't realize is that you ONCE HAD it better than Americans. But now you're pissing away your hard earned benefits, turning your country into little America, replete with those wonderful American values like racism, greed, apathy, classism and fascism.

I know not every Dutch is like this. But it seems they're still a majority, and the net result is the same. It's gonna take all those who feel like the Netherlands is heading in the wrong direction to take action before anything is going to change.

 

So far 50,000 people have been fined for not carrying an ID. There was a small protest in Utrecht by 250 people (students no doubt) who refused to carry an ID.

Big deal! Why aren't there more protests? Why don't the Dutch refuse to carry them en masse to protest? Or is the 50 Euros too much of a fine for you tightwads?

The net result of letting your government treat you like INVENTORY ITEMS is gonna cost you far more than 50 Euros in the long run.

Now that your fascist government has you INVENTORIED as a product, it wouldn't be difficult to find any group they suddenly decide to remove from the ranks of society, be they muslims, left-wing radicals, junkies or even jews (again).

Yup the fascist garbage collectors are making it easy to 'clean-up' the trash from your society with these new laws.

You should be appalled and demand these laws be retracted. If not, again you deserve what you get.
