And tomorrow, his final full day in office, Trump is expected to issue about 100 pardons and commutations. No word on who might get a free pass yet, but I suspect this guy will be among them:

I still have difficulty believing that 75,000,000 people could be under the influence of a Sith Lord
and yet seeing them blindly storm the Capitol building without a thought or care for their own personal
safety or the consequences of their action - someone must surely be controlling them.

In all seriousness, I believe society makes better sense if Trump is convicted by the Senate; even after the fact!

 

It's over. Joe Biden is President and Donald Trump is in Florida. It's a damn shame it took the
full four years but we finally dumped Trump!

At Joint Base Andrews he made his final speech as President, touting his "accomplishments". I hoped he would tell his followers not to commit any more acts of terrorism but he didn't.

He'll be in the news for some time yet with his impeachment and his numerous legal battles. Will he beat them, will he go to jail or will he flee the country?

Anyway let's put that aside for now and focus on pulling ourselves out of this hole we're in.
Get the vaccine when you can, rebuild the economy and try to bridge our divisions. Don't want
any more domestic terror attacks. Hopefully those who supported Trump will accept the new
circumstances and move on.

I hate trump he Claims to be a true American yet he was born to a Scottish Mother and further more Not one of his Three Wives were American Born. I'm not Raciest but the White House is for Americans not Scottish people who marry Czechs and Slovaks.

it's pointless. But I think it's worth reiterating that the 45th presidency was a dysfunctional one. I think it's good that there is an impeachment.

I wonder if the republicans (or Fox) will try to impeach Joe Biden.

I guess I'm being smug about that. I'm hoping though, honestly, for a happier reality and a functional government that doesn't feel sociopathic or whatever....
