There are so many reasons he has to go... from the reversal of environmental laws to tax breaks and hand outs for the rich, disbelief in science, racism, nepotism, and fascism. The list seems endless.

Here's a place for everyone to state their reasons for wanting to dump Trump in the election.

So I will kick this off with a nice little ditty from James Corden, a parody of Paul McCartney's tune "Maybe I'm Amazed." It has been cleverly renamed "Maybe I'm Immune."

I can't wait for all the right-wingers to try and refute facts with nonsense.

From the Autumn 2020 issue of Living Bird magazine:

One year ago, a landmark study published in the journal Science made headlines around the world. The most robust population assessment of North America’s birds ever conducted revealed a stunning 29% decline since 1970—or almost 3 billion birds lost from the continental bird population in just a few decades.

“We were stunned by the result—it’s just staggering,” the study’s lead author, Cornell Lab of Ornithology conservation scientist Ken Rosenberg, told The New York Times in a front-page story published on Sept. 20, 2019.

Sources: Species protected by Migratory Bird Treaty Act and Endangered Species Act; loss of protection of 35 million acres of public land and 16 million acres of wetlands.

On May 10, 2020, The New York Times published a list of 100 federal environmental rules in the United States that the Administration has reversed or is in the process of reversing. The rollbacks range from granting federal permission for more air pollution and greenhouse-gas emissions to stripping protections for wildlife and waters. Bedrock American environmental policy dating back to the Nixon, Wilson, and even the Theodore Roosevelt Administrations have been chipped up and broken apart over the past four years.

    Examples:

Weakening The Migratory Bird Treaty Act (December 2017)

Dropping Protection For Public Lands (December 2017)

Dropping Protection For Public Lands (December 2017)

Stripping Clean Water Act Protections (September 2019) (Anyone remember Detroit???)

Limiting The National Environmental Policy Act (July 2020) (commonly known as the Environmental Bill of Rights - GONE)

    Number one reason...

He never should have been a president to begin with.

Even though I live in the UK my reasons for wanting America to Dump Trump are numerous and I could go on a rant.
But I would just love to see his lying stupid face and barnet to be humbled and labeled a Loser.
This will devastate his ego, and hopefully he will bugger off so that he is no longer being featured on our News screens every day!

It is no wonder Biden said he was the worse President America has ever had.

    Still.
Let’s look on the bright side folks.
He might at a push make very good Manure!

To me, the biggest reason for dumping him is that he's evil and stupid--a bad combination in a President. I say evil, because I think he'll do anything to advance his personal wealth, status and power at the expense of everyone else. Clinically, that's called ASPD (Anti-Social Personality Disorder) . I won't get into the debate over whether he's more sociopath or psychopath--it's something we don't want in the Oval Office. Add to that his over-the-top narcissism and we have a really dangerous character holding the nuclear codes. By stupid, I mean unwilling to listen to experts, including science, his intelligence officers, and his generals. He surrounds himself with sycophantic temps who tell him what he wants to hear. The last notable world leader with an attitude like that dragged his country to defeat in a World War and ended up shooting himself in a bunker in Berlin. Sure, like Hitler, he has a feral demagogic cunning about how to exploit divisions to his advantage, but in the long run he'll drive the country and himself over a cliff.

The thing I find most disturbing is his talk about challenging the election if he loses and going for a third term. That's an open challenge to our republic and our democracy. For any politician to even mention it should be an immediate disqualifier.

But people will ask: What about his policies? First of all, he has none. He operates on the basis of expediency instead of principle. But looking at policies doesn't help him. Has he built the wall? Is Mexico picking up the tab? Has the virus miraculously gone away? Has he reduced the trade deficit? Has he picked only the best people for office? The economy was the one thing he could point to, but that's on the skids. Law and order? He has contempt for the rule of law, and sows chaos. The environment is under siege. Does anybody seriously believe he's made America greater than when he took office?

So what is the draw for his loyal base? Apparently, they think he'll keep the immigrants, the blacks, the Muslims and the fancy pants cultural elites in their place. As Jim Tankersley puts it in The Riches of This Land “Ruling elites convinced one group of distressed workers (white) to blame their troubles on another group of distressed workers (black and brown). They have taken little responsibility for the policies they have pushed that hurt working families, killing jobs and stifling wage growth.” And there's the abortion issue. I hope people will realize the short-sightedness of putting these above the clear and present danger Trump poses to the republic.

The main reason that I am a liberal is my concern for the environment, and treatment of Native Americans. I was at the first Earth Day celebration. Trump is just like reagan was when it comes to the destruction of the environment. I don't know if you are old enough to remember James Watt the DoI secretary under reagan. He was so bad, reagan was forced to fire him. Anyway, he would easily fit into the trump cabinet.

Collusion with the Russians to get elected.

Consistently hires staff who are corrupt, incompetent or both, just like him.

Alienates leaders of friendly countries while buddying up with dictators.

Punishes reporters who ask tough questions, threatens to remove their security clearance.

    Opposes Obamacare.

Claimed credit when the economy was strong, giving no credit to Obama for turning it around in the first place.

Gets impeached for threatening to withhold aid from Ukraine unless they give him dirt on Joe Biden and his son. Beats impeachment by not allowing witnesses to testify about it.

Withdrew us from the Paris Agreement, removes environmental regulations.

Covers up an affair with a porn star, bribes her.

    Cheated on his taxes.

Removed immigrant children from their parents.

    Won't condemn white supremacists.

    Calls veterans suckers and losers.

Has mismanaged the covid-19 pandemic, and over 210,000 Americans have died from it, and counting. Now that he's had it he still downplays it.

    Lies, lies, lies.

I'm sure I've left out a few things.

Notice when Pence talks, whenever he thinks he made a good point. He stops, nods his head, shakes his head, nods it again, and then goes on to the next point. It's highly annoying.

Both Pence and Harris dodged questions, but Pence was worse. In particular when asked what would be his role if Trump refuses to concede when he loses, he avoided it completely, saying he's confident Trump won't lose. Uh huh.

I did appreciate them asking the Bill Maher question, "what would you do if Trump refuses to leave office?"

Not one candidate answered it directly.

Long past time to NOT have a plan, I must assume they simply refuse to discuss said plan in advance.

I don't get the supposed undecideds in the Luntz post-debate poll. Only explanation...they're undecideds...who overwhelmingly felt Pence won? He only won two things. Best hair for flies to live in and for talking long past the time limit...every time he spoke. They didn't like Kamala's facial expression...one which I'm sure many criminal types saw in the past. Of course they're not going to answer the packed court question, because it all depends how things play out. Other than that, one side answered questions calmly and clearly and for the post part finished completely in allotted time, and the other spouted lies...more calmly than his boss, but that's impossible NOT to do. Obvious winner was Kamala.

I do have to agree with you. Pence was touted as an experienced debater, his experiences were obviously not in proper debate. His answers were just like Trumps, evasive and mostly change the subject being the answer to anything.

I expected Kamala to do poorly, she shone like a star with her willingness to go after these crooked so-called politicians.

    Bravo Kamala!

Now Trump says he won't participate in the next debate because it would be virtual as a precaution since he might still be contagious. But he says he's not contagious because he feels fine, denying science once again.

Trump complained during an interview with Fox that a virtual debate would mean he would have to "sit behind a computer" in a virtual debate and the moderator could "cut you off whenever they want." So there it is, he won't do a virtual debate because it could keep him from constantly interrupting, and that would be intolerable to him.

Random thought...When the smoke clears from this disastrous presidency and things are closer to normal, whenever that is, one thing is for sure. The Republican Party should no longer exist. It is one thing for a madman to convince an idiotic nation, but it's quite another for a major political party to allow what is occurring here to happen. Most of these people aren't stupid. They're active collaborators in the biggest travesty of electoral politics in the history of this country.
