Putin's oil depots hit by Ukraine kamikaze drones sparking huge explosions (msn.com) Everybody is investing heavily in drones, as the next weapons of choice in WWIII, and the Ukrainians have proven very capable of converting even light aircraft into drones. The US has attempted to discourage them from dong just this, sending drones really deep into Russian territory, but this is a strategic move on their part. Russia's economy is the fastest growing right now, and their vast oil reserves are struggling to keep up. Making knocking them out right this minute, an effective way to slow down the empire. Note, drone warfare means everyone will be rushing to not only make them cheaper, but to shoot them out of the sky cheaper. Russia has too much territory to defend, and isn't as good with lasers as China and the US. At this point, the Ukraine's backs are against the wall, and everyone is sending them everything but the kitchen sink, hoping they can contain Russia.
Insurance companies are using drone survelence to spot liabilities on residential property; using this leverage to boost insurance costs. Hide your trampoline.
I wouldn't characterize Russia's economy as fastest growing. Yes they are investing heavily in weapons manufacture, however there is little to no outside investment coming into the country. Now compare that to Mexico which until now has been the fastest growing economy in the world for the last few years. They've had tons of investment from China, Europe and the US. Soon, if not already, Mexico will be manufacturing more cars than the US! Add to that the cash flows from Mexican oil, produce, tourism, remittances from Mexicans in the US at record levels and of course illegal drugs and you have a very resilient economy that puts Russia to shame. You need only look at how the lives of citizens of each country have improved over the last few years to understand how well they are doing. And no, the US isn't doing that well at all! Russia is having to sell more crude oil because so many of their refineries have been hit by Ukraine's drones, they're having to import gasoline from other countries.
Iran's Air Defense Purchase From Russia Backfires (msn.com) Begun! The Drone Wars Have! Although the US claims they had no part in this, you can bet your ass the US and Israel have the exact same play-books, and this was exactly what they planned to do. Both the Ukraine and Israel are field testing their systems. Very likely, this was done with a fighter jet missile that cost about $300,000, considered a real bargain for what it does. Just as the US shares play-books with Israel, you can bet China and Iran discuss these things, and it was not merely a coincidence that Iran suddenly launched 300 missiles at Israel. The Chinese wanted to see how good our air defenses are, and the knowledge may be the only thing that prevents them from invading Taiwan. The Chinese have been systematically testing every military system in the world, and hacking into all of the computers too, but they're conservative about their use of military power. Patience is a virtue in this case, with the US preoccupied with Russia. Russia's economy is growing faster than anyone's, while China's is imploding, and gathering intelligence and waiting is their best option. You can bet Iran launched crappy old missiles, they make a ton of them and sell them. Israel's response was to use just standard ordinance and cheap drones to show them they are as vulnerable as a cattle, but everyone already knew that.
The US sent mid-range missiles to the Philippines, and it looks like everyone is gearing up for the Drone Wars! Already, UFO sightings have become so commonplace, they need an air traffic controller to tell them where they all these days. Its like we're living in a movie or something, War of the Worlds! Fought with cheap drones you can buy at Walmart. All the Pentagon has to do is beat out the Walmart competition. Iran just broke out their newest missile system, capable of shooting down US steal fighters, but they forgot to mention, those will be the first things targeted by cruise missiles, before any planes are sent in. Cruise missiles cost up to 1.3 million or more, so all Iran has done is make it slightly more expensive to destroy their entire air defense system. How much do you want to bet, the US supplies Iran with GPS? Those cruise missiles would have detailed maps.
