yea id deal with the ithies a day longer every week till u get to washing weekly and the itches only really bugging ya the day b4 u wash..but if u cant get to a week and the itches driving u crazy after 4 days then thats fine..u can use some herbs to help with oil or itch too
and if u need to because of dirty wortk environment or whatever theres no reason to not wash daily, except as they get longer it becomes a chore and drying takes forever so its not something u wanna do every day

Yeah, I shouldn't need to wash more than once every 4/5 days anyway, I didn't really wash my brushed hair more than once every 3 days or so. I do work in a pet shop where I'm sure I'm going to be finding feathers and hay and all sorts in my hair soon, haha!!

Just finished backcombing my hair today after ten hours it was a long process but I'm excited to see where they go. Also keeping them waxless. Also wanted to say hi to everyone!

My dreads are.....well some are a month and a half old, some are 3 weeks, it was a process. I backcombed with locking accelerator. Kind of went for Dreadhead HQ's advice and products hook, line and sinker and while my dreads are really nice for babies, I came here looking for other advice. You know, from someone who doesn't have the agenda of selling their product. I'd really like to be more natural and tossed my sticky icky wax after one application (that took 12 washes to get out! yuck). I love them!
    much love

eafter 12 washes u cant be sure u actualy got it all out
it could be just settledin to the core where u cant feel it
but glad u decided to go more natural after just 1 wax application
i strongley suggest that u find my thread "the solution to the dreadheadhq/knottyboy scam" and send back all that crap demanding your money back with a copy of that letter we put together

    and bump the thread too

good luck on your journey and lets see some pics :)
