You posted here just to show off the siggy and it's stretching out the thread. That's trollish. It's not an insult, it's an observation and you don't seem to care that it's bringing an annoyance to other posters.

the sig pic woiuld be huge at 1/4 the size, and right now its at least tripple the allowable size
you may wanna check the rules on sig pics and adjust it...when a mod sees it they will just remove it and you'll be left with just a nice lil "sig picv too large" in its place

But s'all good :D I'll sort em out ^^ *thinks to self: be patient... bbbeeeee ppaattiieenntttt.....*

Hey I'm Callie. I have always been a huge fan of dreads, but never had the balls to go for it. (I was raised by a very conservative Southern Baptist family) Upon turning 35 I hit a spot in my life where I just didn't care anymore about what other people think about me...it was quite liberating. So my dread lock journey began. Almost afraid to admit that I did begin my locks by backcombing and waxing. I ordered the K-Boy dread kit..and 12 hours later I had the beginnings of what I hope to be awesome locks in time. I have since stopped using the wax. I have to admit that I was freaking in the beginning of this process. Noticing that some locks were not as tight and almost seamed like they could fall apart easily. My babies are almost 6 months old. Thanks a lot for all the great tips and info I have found on here! You guys rock!!!!

I do have one question.....I think I began mine a little thin. Anyway to join some together or is it too late?

they will join together naturally, if you want them to stay thin just keep them seperated, but over time they will join together, just dont seperate them.

did you say you are 35... you dont look it at all, whats the secret?

you can try wrapping them together, put a bead over several of them, or using hair wraps over them to combine them.

Thanks guys....I have a few of the thinnest together with elastics....how long should you leave those in?
Not sure what the secret is...drinking, smoking, lots of junk food, and chasing 4 daughters around :)
