Doesn't matter anyway. He's posting directions right off the back of DHHQ wax products.

You changed your post. You were posting directions STRAIGHT off the package of a DHHQ product. I know because I read the packaging, and read your post, which you altered or deleted (just did a search).

You can try to make a liar of me, but I am hoping someone else has seen it as well to confirm it.

oh no, you didn't use wax did you? if that purple i'm seeing is wax you should read the icky sticky wax removal thread. that same darkening happened when i used wax on my red locks.

Well, to each there own. If one chooses to use wax, so be it. Who am I to judge. Now, ADVOCATING using wax is another story. We need to teach n00bs the dangers of wax. No one told me, and I did a few dreads that way before I realized it was a mistake.

well why would someone believe putting wax in hair would help something?
the sound of it just sounds senseless

I don't judge either, I ruined my first set of dreads with some bad advice I was given, my second set (5 years in) are doing quite nicely all done with love care and most importantly no wax.

But if people still want to slap that crap in their hair, so be it, they'll learn the hard way :)

    hi there

here's me one and a half years ago with my dreads. I so loved them before having to have them cut for obligatory army service. I still keep them along with some nice long hair I had cut several years ago. I hope I'll have 'em (and the cutten hair I keep to be dreaded also) added back sometime soon.

no wax ever used. my lovely friend was all too conscious about the evil wax! :)

    shine on :)

what?? of course not :) first my current hair will be dreaded by my friend and then the old dreadlocks shall be attached by being dreaded to them.
