I need to palmroll mine more often.

Gah. Tip locking is a pain.

And I don't want to use bands... they melt or get infused with heat, and I have do brazing/welding, since I am in the heating and air industry.

And trust me, I've caught my dreads on fire while trying to hit a six inch tall bong more than I have with an acetylene torch.

Hello all, *waves to everyone* - my dreads aren't even dreads yet - I'm only 3 days into the process of natural dreading, and I already feel better! My scalp is healthier after a week of using Dr. Bronner's to wash my hair instead of gunky shampoo and conditioner, and I don't have dandruff anymore. Also, it's so nice to let my hair do what it wants instead of battling with the tangles 24/7. I'll post more pics as my dreadies progress over time :) Luckily I work in a place that is dread-friendly so my coworkers and customers won't mind seeing me with a head full of tangles for awhile :)

What sort of place do you work? I work in a coffeeshop, but not one the dread friendly ones more like a coffeeshop chain -bleh. I have a cool boss and all but I wear my hair up in a tam, if she wasn't cool i'd quit and find a job where I can wear my hair down.
