The Dread Thread! *knoughty pictures inside*

Makes me want to cry! I cut mine off about three years ago in a fit of rage! Keep your dreads. My dad has had his for years they are gorgeous. I have kept mine in a drawer (weeps) ....

This is really the best thread ever! Never, i say, Never should it die...

 

i was wondering what everyone uses to wash em?

 

I use bar soap, get the purest bar soap you can. I cant remember the name of the soap I use...crap. Ill get back to you.

 

Yep, agreed, bar soap fo sho. I use some organic sandlewood bar soap. I get it at Wild Oats and it's only a dollar per bar. Sometimes when my hair is feeling extra oily and dirty I'll wash with tee tree oil shampoo. I only do this every once in a while, cause shampoo seems to make them stringy and not as knotted.

 

I use Dr. Bronner's Tea Tree Oil Bar soap...works like a charm
