Bolton is saying he offered to resign first and Trump accepted. Now Trump can modify Bolton's resignation letter with a Sharpie pen that says Bolton accepted Trump's firing. Trump can even coerce an undisclosed official in the national security apparatus to write a letter backing up his claim by threatening to fire people. John Bolton: Trump claims he fired security adviser – who insists he resigned President tweets that he fired hawkish national security expert saying he ‘strongly disagreed’ with his suggestions – but Bolton insists he quit Chris Riotta September 10, 2019 Trump fires security adviser John Bolton
RCP averages of numerous scientifically conducted polls show Trump's favorable rating dropped about 3% and his unfavorable rating when up about 2% in the wake of the string of mass shootings in August. Tthe worst shooting occurred on August 3 in El Paso, TX. RealClearPolitics - Election Other - Trump: Favorable/Unfavorable The U.S. incurred 53 deaths as a result of mass shootings in August 2019 when defining a mass shooting where at least three people were killed. August was a bad month for both mass shootings and Trump's poll numbers.
He doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of winning again according to the polls, and the republican party would be much better off if he died in office. While its obvious he has tapped into the American psyche, Americans were unstable and unreliable to begin with, just like our glorious leader. These are the same voters who elected Obama. The very idea that American voters today have an ideology belies all the evidence. The only thing left in American politics is vacuous rhetoric. If Americans gave any more meaningless lip service to dealing with corruption in politics, it would overwhelm the mass media.
If you reheld 2016 today, and everyone voted the same way and couldn't change their vote, and the only difference is the dead couldn't vote, Trump would have lost due to demographic factors. If he wins again, it'll be a narrow electoral college win. The point of this isn't strictly to moan about 2016, it's just that I've not seen him do anything to expand his coalition. He just keeps playing solos to his most extreme base. It doesn't seem like that'll be an effective strategy, even if the democrats choose a dud, which they probably will. Even on this pre-myspace style forum the most vocal Trump supporter is an Australian.
He has kicked the door wide open, showing how gullible Americans have become by their own choice, and the idea others will not attempt to follow in his footsteps is a joke. He made the entire leadership of the republican party bend over and grease their asses for him, merely by spouting their crap better than they do. The KKK could not be more stupid and gullible, and the idea they can protect themselves, much less anyone else, is absurd. Get it straight, the republican party is now only an organization in name, and represents the fucking lynch mob. Their leaders are all idiotic fundamentalists convinced screaming is how you find God, while Donald Duck represents the future of the party, Professional Wrestling and reality TV.
Reports are that the CIA had a spy in Putin's office. Supposedly he told the CIA that the Russian attack on the last presidential election was ordered by Putin and Putin wanted Trump to win. This guy was so close to Putin that he provided the CIA with photographs pf papers on Putin's desk. The CIA pulled him out of Russia because they feared for his life.
SNAFU, situation normal, all fucked up. Putin will no doubt retaliate, by putting his own spies in Donald Duck's office. The more corrupt both governments become, the more easy they are to corrupt. Loyalty among thieves means "You're Fired!" instead of drawn and quartered.
Trump's approval drops into the 30's at the mere thought of a recession. It explains Trump's frantic blaming of his fed chief Powell for not reducing interest rates further which he mistakenly thinks is a guarantee for preventing a recession. Trump approval drops by 6 points, majority say recession likely: POLL By Gary Langer Sep 10, 2019, 10:52 AM ET Trump approval drops by 6 points, majority say recession likely: POLL
Sadly, I do believe the CIA thinks they got the better end of the stick, because Donald Duck is a worthless idiot anyway. He's the mouthpiece counterpart to Putin's toughguy, and Russians and republicans love their professional wrestling. Even the Russians knew Donald Duck was a dud the minute his own party leaders rejected him. Its a flock of chickens people, you don't need to be a genius to comprehend lowbrow slapstick and spy-vs-spy stuff. Donald Duck is, in reality, a chickenshit chicken pecking away at anything and anyone that comes near him. Putin is impotent, which enrages him, while the Pentagon has a military equal to at least the next six largest in the world combined, and would swat him like a bug if he tried anything outrageous. They don't care about Donald Duck, let the idiot die and maybe his time in office might actually have some sort of meaning. If anything, half the fascists in the Pentagon are relieved the idiot has shown himself to be bereft all personal integrity. The Pentagon makes the Kremlin look crude, and laughs about this kind of spy-vs-spy stuff all the time. To them, its just a job and their duty. What bothers them is when people upset their own apple cart, by exposing their real secrets.
It depends on who you talk to. The YouGov poll you cite used a sample of 1000 Americans, but it was not strictly a random sample--in other words, not a scientific sample. YouGov used an online survey of paid recruits picked from a database of marketer email addresses. So the results are dubious. A poll released today by Langer Resarch Associates for ABC/Wahington post showed that support for Trump has dropped 6 points over the last two months to only 38%. Naturally, Trump dismissed it as fake news, although it used a scientific random sample of 1,003 Americans. The RealClear Politics average of polls for 8/22-9/9, puts his approval at 42.9%--down slightly from the previous month. One thing all agree on:Trump is the first U.S. President never to have achieved majority approval and always to have received majority disapproval.
The figures all consistently show that 30% of the country is die-hard on just about any issues you care to mention, and literally hates their own government with a passion. Donald Duck has shown that, with encouragement, that can be pushed up to 40% for whom anything goes. You just can't have a democracy where over a third of the country refuses to ever cooperate on anything, and is dead set on destroying all your democratic institutions, insisting all is fair in love, war, and politics.
Well, somewhere in the low 40s not that big a deal comparable to previous presidents Im sure if same poll was done at hip forums his approval rating would be 10%, not reflective of reality Internet isnt a good guide for what reality is
Bernie Sanders is going to save the world with more efficient light bulbs ....and a, get this, $16 trillion climate change plan. Thats trillion with T folks. Lolz, farkin what?? Bloomberg - Are you a robot? Biden is strong with black voters in the south apparently. Lolz, because he has so much in common with them Biden, Warren or Sanders, these are your choices ha ha ha ha lolz
I’ll happily take any of the three democratic choices over Trump Oh, btw Trumps approval rating in the latest National poll fell to 38% No one ever thought it could fall below 42% since that’s Trumps base of support., I thought 40% perhaps, but never 38%
Thirty percent would support him if he crashed the entire economy and declared war on China. The additional 12% of his base represent those who would let him do whatever he wants, assuming he seems to have the slightest clue he knows what he's doing. That it has only dropped 4% is an indication that over a third of the population supports destroying our government in any way possible. As far as they are concerned, democracy no longer serves the white man, whose numbers are crashing as their wages go down and hours go up. The same thing happened in ancient Rome, when the upper middle class was pressured to work themselves to death, but often well compensated by the standards of the time, and the only ones to retain a vote. In particular, they required bankers and accountants and banking is the most popular business major in the US today. These days, you earn a living handling money, or you work for someone's else's money.
