A few days before the start of the hearings, the Trump administration says it will withold records of Kavanaugh and makes the announcement on a Friday evening of a three-day holiday weekend. My source inside NASA claims they're going to go on a work slow down because of this...but I doubt it.
Ford cancels Focus crossover due to Trump. Ford hoped to sell 50,000 units built in China yearly but finds it no longer profitable to import them due to Trump's new tariffs. This means Ford will be out of the car business except for the Mustang.
Trump's pathology related to his increasing use of the word 'fake' is worsening. Exceptions exist, which themselves can be considered a pathological state of Trump's mind. For example, Trump used to label unemployment of 5% as 'fake' before he became President, claiming it was really 20%. He now believes that the current lower than 5% figure is real and boasts about it. If unemployment rises to a level that is uncomfortable for him, expect Trump to once again claim that it is fake. President Trump's Description of What's 'Fake' Is Expanding by Tamara Keith September 2, 20187:02 AM ET President Trump's Description of What's 'Fake' Is Expanding
Based on Trump's past remarks about Harley-Davidson that he damaged with his tariffs, Trump can be expected to tell Ford "don't get cute" and retaliate against Ford by threatening it with taxes and fees and giving incentives to foreign-owned automotive companies to come to the U.S. to build vehicles to replace those of Ford.
Canada is the largest importer of American goods. : $ 285 - billion-plus per year. This lump has no idea what he is doing.
It was good that McCain expressed that he didn't want Trump at his funeral. Trump probably would have intentionally showed up late in the middle of the service so that all the eyes and cameras would go onto him, a stunt that he pulled at the 2018 G7 summit when he entered late and during the Women's Empowerment Breakfast while council co-chair Isabelle Hudon was speaking.
Trump Shows Up Late to G7 Women’s Empowerment Breakfast by Benjamin Hart June 9, 2018 Trump Shows Up Late to G7 Women’s Empowerment Breakfast excerpt: "During the few hours he spent at the G7 Summit in Quebec, President Trump effectively acted as a one-man turd in the punch bowl, distancing America from its supposed allies at just about every opportunity. On Saturday morning, Trump threw in straight-up rudeness to his list of offenses, showing up conspicuously late to a meeting assembled by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on the topic of women’s empowerment — which, admittedly, is not high on Trump’s list of concerns."
Egger: Was that one where he physically pushed that ambassador out of his way so that the cameras could focus in on his Mussolini face--puffed up with his nose in the air with the false sense of importance?? Everything he says is a lie, Everything he does is for him and his family and no one else. "I would probably be the first guy to make a profit as president."---------The exact wording escapes me--but that's the gist.
Trump pushed the leader of Montenegro out of the way when the cameras approached to do a photo-op, once again making himself the turd in the punch bowl. He has done so many that it has become difficult to keep track of all of them.
That wasn't an ambassador. That was the Prime Minister of Montenegro. Maybe Trumps' shove also reflects Montenegro's 2017 decision to join NATO-- a move that incurred the wrath of Trump buddy Vlad.
Do you folks remember when Trump used to say the unemployment rate was not the real unemployment rate and that Obama was misrepresenting the low rate? Trump used to say the unemployment rate was something like 23% or thereabout. He never did give us evidence to support his claim. I wonder where he got his figures?
In no way am I agreeing with the Moron but the unemployment figures are based on those receiving unemployment compensation... They do not reflect the number of people that can't find work and have exhausted their benefits. Shyt tons of people have fallin off the backside of that program and are still without a job. No matter who is president the advertised number is always wrong.
Yes, that is true. The irony is Trump used to take the position which claims the unemployment rate is not right...not realistic. Now that he's in the oval office, he boasts the rate is great and indication his policies are superior...on account he's such a stable genius.
The Rust Belt is done with Donald Trump's gold-plated populism Jason Sattler, Opinion columnist Published 10:57 p.m. ET Aug. 7, 2018 | Updated 2:15 p.m. ET Aug. 8, 2018 The Rust Belt is done with Donald Trump's gold-plated populism excerpt: "But people who look at only race will miss the larger story of what’s going on with Trump’s crumbling numbers in the Midwest. Income tells a much clearer story. In Wisconsin, Trump is at 41 percent approval among voters earning at least $50,000 a year and only 28 percent with those earning less than that.In Michigan, 32 percent of those earning under $50,000 approve of Trump, compared with 37 percent earning at least $50,000 a year. Political scientist Josh Pacewicz argued that Trump’s popularity in the Rust Belt was the result of “undirected populist resentment at a technocratic, corporate-friendly elite.” The “corporate-friendly elite” might as well be the name of the Trump administration’s softball team, if they had ever heard of softball. Trump’s policies have been precisely tailored to pleasure the richest. Under his tax law, businesses received nine times more in cuts than what they gave their workers and spent 37 times more on stock buybacks than on bonuses since the reforms became law, according to an April analysis by Americans for Tax Fairness. Now, Trump’s Treasury secretary has suggested that the administration may serve up $100 billion more in tax cuts that will go just to the richest of the richest, who just happen to include much of Trump’s Cabinet, family and big donors. In exchange for their votes for gold-plated populism, Midwesterners got a plutocrat in need of platinum pacifier. If Trump is going to fool them again, he'll need a new act — or an old one with a super strong dose of what he knows best: scaring white people."
