Sam Patten, who worked for George W. Bush, Freedom House, Cambridge Analytica, pro Russian Ukrainians, and Donald J. Trump has flipped.
Patton and another dude received $1 million from Ukraine and didn't report it.
He also helped secure illegal Ukrainian donations to Trump's inauguration committee.

Trump’s latest rally rant is much more alarming and dangerous than usual

Opinion | Trump’s latest rally rant is much more alarming and dangerous than usual

    excerpts:

"At his rally on Thursday night in Indiana, President Trump unleashed his usual attacks on the news media, but he also added a refrain that should set off loud, clanging alarm bells. Trump didn’t simply castigate “fake news.” He also suggested the media is allied with special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s probe — an alliance, he claimed, that is conspiring not just against Trump but also against his supporters."

"This time, something different is happening. At this point, there is no longer any denying that Trump continues to direct incendiary attacks against working members of the free press even though his own language is being cited by clearly unhinged people making horrifying death threats against them.

Trump’s assaults on the media are different in another way, too. Previous presidents have tangled with the press, most notably Richard Nixon, who sicced his vice president on the TV networks. But as I discuss in my forthcoming book, even these presidents maintained a grudging acceptance of the news media as an adversarial mechanism of accountability that legitimately informs the public debate and thus retains a vital institutional role in our democracy.

Trump simply does not accept this at all. He is trying to destroy this foundational set of ideas in the minds of his supporters. And it seems to be working."

    excerpt:

"WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump is prepared to quickly ramp up a trade war with China and has told aides he is ready to impose tariffs on $200 billion more in Chinese imports as soon as a public comment period on the plan ends next week, Bloomberg News reported on Thursday."

Canceling civilian federal pay raises was a great way for Trump to damage constituents of him and politicians in the Virginia area and elsewhere at a time when mid-term elections are approaching

Apparently Trump didn't consider possible reactions to this type of move and didn't discuss it with lawmakers before making the decision.

As Rumsfeld has said before, give the guy a break; he's new to all of this.

Trump says he'll 'study' his decision to cancel federal pay raises
The comments come after his Thursday pay freeze announcement was met with heavy criticism from several lawmakers, including some Republicans.

If Trump is impeached and also removed from office, Mike Pence will become president. Pence gives everyone the impression that he is a devout Christian; but, he has signed into law legalized gay marriage in Indiana, when governor. Also in Indiana, he got lots of money from business and manufacturing people. One of these donors is T. Moravec who owns a pharmaceutical company. Michael D'Antonio and Peter Eisner just released "The Shadow President" where they report Pence got $430,000 from Blairex Labs, owned by Moravec. Blairex Labs produces Boudroux Butt Paste and Encore spermicidal suppository. On the streets of Indiana, Pence is rumored to be close friends with Ohio Republican and anti-gay crusader Wes Goodman who got caught having sex with a man in his own office in the Ohio Statehouse.

Ohio has been having its problems, a state once known for being dignified and the breadbasket of respectable politicians, Presidents, and astronauts.

'Inappropriate behavior' with man in his office led to Ohio lawmaker's ouster

    excerpt:

"The departure of Goodman, who is married, comes less than a month after the resignation last month of Sen. Cliff Hite, R-Findlay, following a complaint of sexual harassment filed by a staffer who said he asked her repeatedly to have sex with him in his Columbus condo. On Monday, Senate Democratic Chief of Staff Mike Premo resigned following a complaint of inappropriate behavior by a staffer."

Just in time for Labor Day, Trump has cancelled a planned pay raise for 1.8 million federal workers:

'Absolutely Repulsive': After $1.5 Trillion Tax Giveaway to the Rich, Trump Cancels Modest Pay Raise for Federal Workers

So I guess this is how they'll be able to afford the enormous tax cuts they gave the ultra-rich for no reason, and I'm sure the zero jobs they will create will help offset the effects of the lowered consumption rate among the federal workers. At least we only have $1.9 trillion added to the national debt... I am sure that a lot of people are going to see great things happening in the coming years.

The comment about Trump near the end of the video summarizes it:

"He not only hitched his wagon to the most corrupt people in this country, he also happened to hire the most incompetent lawyers ever to pass the bar in the United States."

Trump's next stunt will be to nix pay raises for Democrats but allow them for Republicans.

In addition to Trump yelling at people on the phone, he did his usual routines on Saturday raging on Twitter and playing golf at his Trump-branded property.

Trump's blathering happened while McCain's body was at Washington National Cathedral where the service was held to honor him.

The contrast couldn't be more stark.

Washington Mourned John McCain. President Trump Played Golf.

Washington Mourned John McCain. President Trump Played Golf.

    excerpts:

"In the many discussions about how to mark his life that Mr. McCain had with his staff and family before he died, he had made clear he did not want Mr. Trump to participate in anything they planned. So as Mr. McCain was eulogized in the presence of much of the American political establishment, Mr. Trump, pointedly uninvited, engaged in what by now is a familiar weekend routine. He sent a series of angry tweets aimed at some political adversaries, then left the White House to play a round of golf at his resort in Virginia."

"Her father continued to tweet during the service, switching his focus to Canada and the North American Free Trade Agreement, threatening to exclude Canada from a final deal and insisting that he saw no political need to accommodate the Canadians. Mr. Trump also warned Congress, which has final say over trade deals, not to interfere and said that he would be happy to just terminate Nafta altogether. It remains a matter of debate as to whether Mr. Trump has the authority to do that on his own.

As Mr. Trump tweeted, onlookers outside the cathedral lined up along the streets, and pointed through the wrought-iron fences. They identified the politicians streaming in, lifting their children on their shoulders for a better look. And several took note of a difference they saw between Mr. Trump’s unpredictable approach to politics and the senator who stayed steadfast to his ideals.

“He’s almost a thing of the past,” said Boyd Lewis, 61, a Democrat from Washington, as he anchored his dog leash on the fence and peered up to the cathedral doors. “Today, the lack of civility, lack of integrity coming out of the White House — McCain was a great soul, not a baseless demigod.”"
