I've been wondering if I'm on the terrorist watch-list . Been randomly investigated by federal agents
several times now ; just in the course of travelling about . Shit happens . But today I bought a gun
after clearance from the county sheriff . There were two forms to complete : one at the sheriff's office
and the other from the gun-dealer . One out-standing question was ' are you Hispanic or not ? '

    It's just a 22cal rifle .

There is strangeness to investigate .

Trump's hostage-ransom tactic of separating migrant parents and children was supposed to twist the arm of Congress.

An immigration bill failed in a 301 to 121 vote in the House.

As Trump might say, "Who could have thought immigration reform could be so complicated?"

Immigration reform: More than a decade of failure from Bush to Obama and now Trump

    - A Republican immigration reform bill was overwhelmingly rejected in the House this week, marking only the latest setback on immigration in Congress in recent years.
    - Amid party divisions and unpredictability from President Donald Trump, lawmakers appear no closer to passing comprehensive immigration reform than they were during the Bush and Obama administrations.
    - The issue has taken on more urgency this summer amid public uproar over the Trump administration's separation of migrant children from parents.

I wonder what happens to the 6-17.33333 year olds. As for thinning the herd, the military is famous for this. The ratios will match those of the overall population, on paper. Individual services have been sued for this over and over. It's become such a cash cow for both sides, I can feel the apathy.

Is Andrew Wheeler just as bad or worse than Pruitt? I am too tired to read about him now...

I haven't checked his background yet. My thought is that drumpf won't pick a replacement anytime soon. That way he can delay the confirmation process.

Anger at "PC culture" and different races is a world wide thing. Trump is a hero to them because their own politicians are not that stupid. They are still playing by logic and manners. They are not playing 4d chess and saying fuck your feelings.

What concerns me here is also the DNA testing. The govt is saying they don't know who the parents are because the ICE & Border Patrol did not bother to document the child/Parent arrivals. Now they want to do DNA testing to establish the relationship. How much is this costing us? How much is the detention and prosecution of the parents costing us? Entering the USA illegally is just a misdemeanor offense?

Shine ignored pressing scandals at Fox and resigned. That makes him an appropriate person for the Trump administration.

Trump Picks Disgraced Former Fox News Executive Bill Shine to Fill White House Communications Position

"Shine left Fox in May 2017 after his failure to promptly handle several sexual harassment allegations made against then-Fox Chairman Roger Ailes and talk-show host Bill O’Reilly, both of whom also left the network, according to the Los Angeles Times.

According to CNBC, Shine had been at Trump’s favorite news station for more than 20 years. Fox News pundit and resident asshole, Sean Hannity—Trump’s friend and most staunch defender, whose is also a good friend to Shine—cried the whitest Twitter tears upon learning that Shine was resigning from the news station in 2017."

Court proceedings eventually revealed Sean Hannity as the previously unknown third client of Cohen. The other two were Trump and a disgraced former RNC deputy national finance chairman Elliot Broidy who resigned over a sex scandal similar to the one involving Trump and Stormy Daniels.

Why should you not be questioned over the purchase of gun? When you consider what the second amendment is and why gun owners say they need it it is by design a dangerous thing to social order and the goverment. And a certain type of person is drawn to that lifestyle.

You expect the big mean goverment who you have to fight to just allow it as a "right"? Gun owners have some strange logic. Why would your enemy make it east for you? The burden is on you to earn the right.

Nonsense . I submit to be questioned . Why is the question on the form " Are you Hispanic ? " I asked some
friends last night . One speculation was that it is the govt concern about illicit gun-running to Mexico . Stupid .
Another question was do I smoke pot . Must I deny everything ?

Sure , I protest govt nonsense and I protest the political lunacy that also yooz are . And you will illustrate
your nonsense to be true to itself .

Farmers in Ohio and other states that have a large soybean export who stated concern in April 2018 about Trump's tariff war should be even more concerned now after China implemented retaliatory tariffs that include soybeans in response to Trump's recent tariff escalation.

Some Ohio soybean farmers worry as China raises tariffs on $50B of US soybeans

Some Ohio soybean farmers worry as China raises tariffs on $50B of US soybeans

    excerpt:

"Some Ohio soybean farmers are worried the tariffs could impact their exports. Farmer Jeff Magyar told WTOV he’s concerned because China is the largest buyer of U.S. soybeans.

“Every third row of soybeans in Ohio goes to China,” Magyar said.

The Chinese tax agency said the date the 25 percent tariff hike might take effect would be announced later depending on what U.S. President Donald Trump's government does about plans to raise duties on a similar amount of Chinese goods. A Commerce Ministry statement said China was protecting its "legitimate rights and interests.""

China and Russia hit back at Trump tariffs
    BBC

China and Russia hit back at US tariffs

    excerpt:

"What tariffs are now in effect?

US tariffs on $34bn (£25.7bn) of Chinese goods came into effect on Friday.

China retaliated by imposing a similar 25% tariff on 545 US products - including cars, soya beans and lobsters - also worth a total of $34bn.

Russia is introducing extra duties on a range of products imported from the US that can be replaced by locally made equivalents.

They include road-building equipment, products for the oil and gas industry, and tools used in mining."

Snap-On Tools of Wisconsin that Trump visited in 2017 could end up as a casualty of Trump's trade war like Harley-Davidson, another U.S. based company in Wisconsin that Trump earlier had said he was supporting wholeheartedly.

Harley-Davidson fell from Trump's grace after being forced to respond to retaliatory tariffs invoked by Trump's initiation of the tariff war. Trump later retaliated on H-D by saying he would support its competitors, most of which will probably be foreign-based motorcycle companies based on how Trump's tariffs work in the real world, not how he mistakenly thinks they work.

Trump’s Mar-a-Lago wants to hire dozens of foreigners

"In Kenosha, Wisconsin, in April 2017, Trump signed an executive order directing federal agencies to put the “Buy American, Hire American” rhetoric of his campaign into practice.

“The buy and hire American order I’m about to sign will protect workers and students like you,” Trump told students and employees at the headquarters of Snap-On Tools, a Wisconsin-based manufacturer, CNN reported.

“It’s America first, you better believe it. It’s time. It’s time, right?”

Trump said the order would “aggressively promote and use American-made goods and to ensure that American labor is hired to do the job.”

But many of Trump’s signature product line and amenities in his hotels are made abroad, including clothing from Asia, Mexico and Central America.

Likewise, first daughter Ivanka Trump’s clothing and lifestyle lines are manufactured in low-wage countries including Bangladesh, China, India, Indonesia and Vietnam."
