Also on Friday, the watchdog group Public Citizen sued the department on behalf of the University of California Student Association, a group of student government representatives, seeking an injunction to block DOGE staff from accessing “sensitive personal and financial information.” The suit cites reporting that DOGE-affiliated individuals accessed the department’s internal systems containing federal student aid information.

“The scale of the intrusion into individuals’ privacy is enormous and unprecedented,” the suit states. “The personal data of over 42 million people lives in these systems.”

Texas has 30 million people with 40 electoral votes. The GOP knows how crucial it is to keep it a red state as it gradually heads toward blue. It has been crippling Democratic voters in the state with 'election integrity' legislation.

Trump wants to create a blue state of 40 million people by making Canada a 51st state.

That would tilt the U.S. House significantly toward Democrats and likely create two Democratic U.S. Senate seats, unless Trump somehow does a psychology job on Canadians and makes them MAGA like he did the Village People.

Trump needs to find a way of annexing Canada without incurring the negative political consquences for Republicans. Making it a U.S. territory would be less damaging to the GOP than making it a state. Or making it a political and legal no-man's land like Guantanamo Bay.

All of it is political fantasy in Trump's mind.

 

Netanyahu has been in power for more than 17 years.

Putin has been in power in Russia since 1999 as president or prime minister, although not contiguous.

Orban has been in power since 2010. He was also in power from 1998 to 2002. That's about 19 years.

Trump has praised all of them while blasting democratically run countries that historically have been the closest allies of the U.S.

The court ruled Trump lost an appeal and had to pay $315,000 which included the cost of the unpaid paint and legal fees. It's why Trump has been able to cheat smaller businesses, the ones he claims he's helping

Because of his ego, Trump wasted his and everyone's time and ended up paying ten times as much compared to if he had simply paid for the paint.

Now he's doing it to the country as a whole for the next four years.
