'Support The Blue' Trump can now contend that his rioter was abused twice by police, once at his riot at the Capitol and again during a traffic stop. A Trump supporter could have dozens of run-ins with the law and Trump would still be supporting the person and claiming he's a victim.
In spite of Trump, before starting his second term, saying that he would review his rioters on a case-by-case basis for pardoning, it was expected that he wouldn't have the discipline to review over 1,500 cases, even if he really wanted to do it. He did a blanket pardon-commute. A few of the GOP in the Senate didn't agree with it, Graham being one of them who is upset about Trump pardoning people who attacked police officers.
Trump critic, Jim Acosta, has left CNN. Acosta is known for having his U.S. Secret Service security credentials revoked by Trump during his first term after a contentious exchange at a press gathering. https://www.npr.org/2018/11/07/665497382/white-house-revokes-press-pass-of-cnns-jim-acosta excerpt: Acosta had challenged the president on his characterization of the migrant caravan moving through Mexico as an "invasion."
Trump press spokesperson Leavitt says the the drones sighted in NJ were authorized by the FAA. In one of his usual rash statements at the time, Trump had said he thought the objects should be shot down if it was unclear what they were. Many of them were manned aircraft misidentified by the public as drones. Trump injected another one of his truther narratives to agitate the public and invoke in the public resentment toward the government. Using Trump's approach, manned aircraft would have been shot down.
https://www.cnn.com/2025/01/28/politics/white-house-drones/index.html excerpts: Leavitt made the announcement — the most significant since drone paranoia took off in December — in her first briefing from the White House press room after President Donald Trump said on December 16 “something strange is going on and for some reason they don’t want to tell the people.” “Many of these drones were also hobbyists, recreational and private individuals that enjoy flying drones,” Leavitt said. “In time, it got worse due to curiosity. This was not the enemy.”
Well it was " Pardon Week" and its a damm shame that our Presidents loyal opposition did not have the moral standing to effectivly challenge Trumps gross breach of civility in pardoning violent offenders. Mr Biden had pardons of his own. Each day our citizens, often the poor, are threatened by violent street criminals. Trumpster is ceding the moral high ground by his pardons of the J-6 creeps.
The drone situation like the one in NJ can grow worse as people buy more drones and fly them to try to find out what's going on with all the drone sightings. Trump made it worse by stoking fear and intrigue in the public by making truther statements that something strange is going on. If anything is strange, it's a candidate who just won the presidency who is spreading misinformation to the public about a situation and making it worse.
Trump has a history of showing fear to pereived invaders, whether it's immigrants, drones, or body fluids.
During Trump's first term, Fox stoked fear in Trump by doing a day-by-day update of a supposed migrant caravan in Mexico that was on its way to the border to invade the U.S.
Fetterman appeared on The View today. John Fetterman's clash with 'The View' over Trump's NYC trial shows Dems STILL living in denial
Trump can either try to obtain money from Congress or use declared emergencies to siphon money from the military. Trump wants money for these operations while Musk is calling for $2 trillion per year cuts in federal spending. Lindsey Graham says the money isn't there, similar to Trump's first term when the GOP denied him money for his border wall. Trump immigration raids snag U.S. citizens, including Native Americans, raising racial profiling fears excerpt: The mass deportation efforts may soon run into funding realities. Homan has said Congress will have to pony up more money to pay for Trump's mass deportation pledge and Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., has said "we don't have the resources."
Suspicions of Trump using racial profiling. Trump immigration raids snag U.S. citizens, including Native Americans, raising racial profiling fears excerpt: "Questioning of Navajo Nation citizens, who are American citizens, by ICE has been problematic enough that Navajo President Buu Nygren took to the airwaves to address it. On tribal radio station KTNN, Nygren said he had received accounts of “negative and sometimes traumatizing” encounters between ICE and Navajo Nation citizens, Native News Online reported. He advised Navajo Nation residents to carry identification, driver’s licenses and their Certificate of Indian Blood. NBC News reached out to ICE regarding the detaining and questioning of Navajo Nation citizens and complaints of racial profiling, and has not yet received a response. One of the employees detained and questioned by ICE at a seafood wholesaler during an immigration raid in Newark, New Jersey, was a U.S. citizen and military veteran."
Jim Acosta Announces Sudden Exit from CNN with Cryptic Final Message: 'Don't Give In to the Lies' excerpt: "Acosta was known for his tough questions in the White House briefing room during Trump’s first presidency, and he was banned from the White House in 2018 following a heated exchange with Trump. He sued the government, prompting a federal judge to rule that his White House press badge be reinstated."
