Meta is the company that owns and operates Facebook.

    Zuckerberg owns 13% of Meta.

Zuckerberg recently visited Trump at Mar-a-Lago.

Meta is moving its team that oversees media content from California to Texas.

Matt Gaetz’s Real Fate Is Somehow Worse Than I Could Have Imagined

    excerpt:

"Gaetz also took the opportunity to test out some stand-up material that that comes from the Rob Schneider school of comedy. (The first joke was about how Meta employees moving to Texas are going to start eating beef rather than kale.) "

The Hill was purchased by Nexstar in 2021 whose headquarters is now in Irving, Texas near Dallas.

It explains why the content of The Hill, once considered middle of the road, has taken a significant turn to the right the past few years.

The Dallas-Fort Worth area is known for its disproportionately large number of Trump supporters who were arrested for rioting at the Capitol, similar to the Tampa area of Florida.

Trump's return to power has old critics and skeptics reconciling with a new 'normal'

    excerpt:

On Tuesday, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg cited the political climate’s shift back toward Trump as his company made a flurry of moves indicating a desire to get right with the right. Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, meanwhile, has spoken optimistically about Trump’s potential anti-regulatory agenda in a new term. And five of the country’s biggest banks have in recent weeks announced their withdrawals from a pandemic-era climate coalition, the latest pullback from the environmental, social and corporate governance, or ESG, initiatives that became a major target for criticism on the right.

“Maybe I’m overthinking it, but it is a little concerning that everybody sort of just said, ‘We've got to give this guy what he wants,’ right?” a Pennsylvania Democrat said. “I just don’t know where the backstop is here.”

Dershowitz is upset because he thinks Judge Merchan 'tricked' the Supreme Court by indicating before sentencing that he would give Trump and unconditional discharge.

When it announced it was not going to stop Trump's sentencing, the Supreme Court stated in its ruling as part of its reasoning that an unconditional release didn't place any burden on Trump during his presidency.

Dershowitz helped defend Trump at the U.S. Senate 'trial' when Trump was impeached for coercing Ukraine to conduct a public smear campaign on Biden ahead of the 2020 election by withholding U.S. government aid money to Ukraine.

A notable line by Dershowitz in defense of Trump was that Trump supposedly wasn't abusing his power by coercing Ukraine by withholding the money to be reelected but rather was doing what's in the public interest because reelecting Trump was in the national interest. His statement caused a reaction of groans in the room.

Using that reasoning, Trump instigating a riot at the Capitol to steal the 2020 election from Biden and Americans wasn't criminal because reelecting Trump is in the national interest.

Judge Cannon clears way for release of Jack Smith report Volume 1 on Trump's efforts to overturn the 2020 election.

Trump's two co-defendants in the documents criminal case had requested that it not be released, even though it pertains to the election subversion case and not the documents case.

The DOJ has said that it won't release Volume 2 which pertains to the documents case because it involves Trump's two co-defendants in the documents case who may face continued prosecution later, although Trump could pardon them when he takes office.

It closes a chapter in the two federal cases. Vol. 1 pertaining to the election subversion case will be released. Vol. 2 won't be released, at least for now, to which the DOJ agreed anyway in spite of Trump's two co-defendants requesting it not be released.

Federal judge clears way for release of Jack Smith's report on Trump election interference case

    excerpt:

"A federal judge ruled Monday that the Justice Department may release a report by former special counsel Jack Smith detailing his election interference case against President-elect Donald Trump.

South Florida US District Judge Aileen Cannon in a signed order denied a request by two of Trump’s former co-defendants seeking to block the report, clearing the way for its release as soon as midnight."

Potential music groups that could perform at Trump's inauguration.

The article doesn't mention Village People.

Who will perform at Donald Trump's inauguration?

    excerpt:

    Jackie Evancho
    Verdict: Not Appearing.

    Lee Greenwood
    Verdict: Probable.

    Kid Rock
Verdict: We’re betting he’ll be top billing.

    Jason Aldean
    Verdict: Very possible.

    Mary Millben
    Verdict: High chance.

    50 Cent
    Verdict: Very unlikely.

    Kanye ‘Ye’ West
Verdict: A wildcard pick but we’ve seen stranger things happen...

Don the Con is already saying how President Biden is leaving a poor economy for Don the con to repair. In other words he is passing the blame ( of a health economy soon to be destroyed by him) on Biden. Joe Biden's good economic gains during his time in the White House shows great improvements since Don's 4 years. Don the Con will crush the economy with his proposed tariffs and economic policies.

Carrie Underwood joined by Village People, Lee Greenwood at Trump inauguration events

    excerpt:

"Our song Y.M.C.A. is a global anthem that hopefully helps bring the country together after a tumultuous and divided campaign where our preferred candidate lost," they continued. "Therefore, we believe it’s now time to bring the country together with music which is why VILLAGE PEOPLE will be performing at various events as part of the 2025 Inauguration of Donald J. Trump."

Almost unthinkable in the late 70's that someone like Trump would become president, let alone a group like the Village People would be essentially endorsing him and playing at his inaugural because they say they want to help Trump promote unity.

All Trump has to do now is give the Village People high level positions in his administration.
