Trump says he shouldn't have left White House in 2021.

    https://www.cnn.com/2024/11/03/politics/trump-dark-closing-message/index.html

    excerpts:

At a rally in the must-win battleground state, the former president told supporters that he “shouldn’t have left” office after losing the 2020 election; described Democrats as “demonic”; complained about a new poll that shows him no longer leading in Iowa, a state he twice carried; and said he wouldn’t mind if a gunman aiming at him also shot through “the fake news.”

“I shouldn’t have left. I mean, honestly, because we did so, we did so well,” Trump said during his rally in Lititz as he claimed the US-Mexico border was more secure under his administration.

“I have this piece of glass here. But all we have really over here is the fake news, right? And to get me, somebody would have to shoot through the fake news,” Trump said. “And I don’t mind that so much. I don’t mind.”

“These elections have to be, they have to be decided by 9 o’clock, 10 o’clock, 11 o’clock on Tuesday night. Bunch of crooked people, these are crooked people,” Trump said.

An assassin shot through the crowd at Trump at Butler, PA. One of Trump's supporters was shot and killed because of it.

Trump doesn't rule out banning vaccines if reelected.

Trump doesn't rule out banning vaccines if he becomes president: 'I'll make a decision'

    excerpt:

On Friday, Kennedy tweeted that on its first day in office, a Trump administration would push to ban fluoride in water, claiming it is “industrial waste” that leads to problems like cancer and other diseases.

“Well, I haven’t talked to him about it yet, but it sounds OK to me,” Trump said Sunday when he was asked about that plan. “You know, it’s possible.”

At a GA rally on Sunday, Herschel Walker was present with Trump for the first time in 2024.

Gov. Kemp wasn't present. Kemp hasn't appeared at any of Trump's rallies this year.

Trump leans into anti-migrant rhetoric at final Georgia rally as early voting puts state on a knife-edge

    excerpt:

“With your vote on Tuesday, I will end inflation, I will stop the invasion of criminals coming into our country,” Trump said. “We’re at the five-yard line, maybe even the one-yard line … This is really all you need to know: Kamala broke it and I’ll fix it.”

Critical swing counties in the 2024 presidential election.

8 key counties that could decide the Trump-Harris election

    excerpt:

"Located just northwest of Atlanta, Cobb was solidly Republican for decades — in part because it was majority white. But the county has diversified fast, and now its population is 30% Black, 15% Latino and about 6% Asian. Nearly 16% of residents are immigrants.

At the same time, Cobb County has remained affluent and highly educated; the Home Depot and the Weather Channel are headquartered there, and Coca-Cola, UPS and Delta are just a short drive away.

This has not been good news for Trump. In 2016, Hillary Clinton bucked Cobb’s historical GOP lean, winning there by just over 2 points; in 2020, Biden expanded that edge to more than 14 points. As a result, Biden became the first Democratic presidential nominee to win Georgia since 1992."

Iowa pollster with a high accuracy record responds to Trump's attacking her for supposedly being a Trump hater.

Her poll showed Harris with a three-point lead in Iowa. She used the same method that she did that indicated Trump would win Iowa in 2016 and 2020.

    The term 'concert-like' is accurate.

Trump even turned one of his town hall events into a music concert for 39 minutes after two rallygoers fainted. People walked out during the concert.

His rally at Madison Square Garden looked like a fascist Halloween party.

His town halls and rallies have been looking increasingly like entertainment events but with a sinister tone.

    excerpt:

When Trump is gone, she said, “I think the Trump train will dwindle. A lot of people are in it for the hype.” The result, she said, might be a smaller, more “purified” version of the movement, and one “willing to do whatever it takes, those that remain.”

Too many people, she said, were drawn to Trump’s rallies for the “concert-like effect.”

Trump still has as many people waiting onsite for hours for his bizarre rallies that look and sound like a Halloween party, sometimes with numerous rallygoers leaving early after being bored with Trump's endless whining or in confusion about what's going on (after Trump converted a town hall event into a concert during the event).

Hulk Hogan has been at Trump's rallies and does the same stunt of tearing off his shirt.

In the pre-Trump era it was difficult to imagine a U.S. presidential campaign run like Trump's with Trump running even with Harris, let alone even being in a presidential race. The most crackpot, low-end countries in the world can't come up with presidential campaigns that absurd.

The U.S. has set a very low bar for the rest of the world to try to go even lower (if that's possible).

Trump crowd size has dwindled since his Madison Square Garden event.

Trump's once enthusiastic crowds dwindle in election's closing days

    excerpt:

"In Raleigh, N.C. Monday, the first of his four rallies of the day, there were well over a thousand empty seats and no line to get in.

At his second rally in Reading, Pa., the arena appeared about half full shortly before Trump was scheduled to begin his remarks. The timing of his address was later pushed back an hour.

There have been similar scenes in the past week.

In Macon, Ga. on Sunday, Trump didn't fill the venue he was speaking at, and attendees left throughout his address.

His events in Kingston, N.C. and Lititz, Pa. Sunday likewise only drew a couple of thousand people."

Reasons why all ballots can't be guaranteed to be counted on the evening of the election.

Potential fraud is one of them. Trump should know this, yet he complains that the ballots might not be fully counted on election night (which he perceives as fraud).

Trump wants the presidential winner to be declared on election night. Why that's unlikely

    excerpt:

"It also takes time to count every one of the millions of votes because election officials have to process disputed, or “provisional,” ballots, and to see if they were legitimately cast. Overseas ballots from military members or other U.S. citizens abroad can trickle in at the last minute. Mail ballots usually land early, but there’s a lengthy process to make sure they’re not cast fraudulently. If that process doesn’t start before Election Day, it can back up the count.

Some states, such as Arizona, also give voters whose mail ballots were rejected because the signatures didn’t match up to five days to prove they actually cast the ballot. That means final numbers simply cannot be available Tuesday night."

Trump says while not being president he saved Michigan by threatening tariffs on a unnamed Chinese company that was going to start a plant in Mexico that would have wrecked Detroit and Michigan with electric vehicles.

US election 2024 live updates: Trump launches insults at final rally as Harris ends campaign promising to ‘get to work’ | US elections 2024 | The Guardian

    excerpt:

"Trump has returned to the theme of plants and Mexico, telling a convoluted story about a businessman friend and China’s intention to build a plant in Mexico which was going “to destroy Michigan”.

He says that his threats to “put a 100% tariff on every single car coming out of that plant” had led to a decision not to build the purported plant.

“I saved Detroit and Michigan a lot and I did that without even being president,” he claims."
