Both incidents are symbolic of Trump's violent approach to obtain what he wants for himself any way he can. His insurrection at the Capitol is another example.

I went to vote yesterday, I just dreaded it. First, of course, step one in voter suppression, no parking, so you had to fight for that for half an hour. Then you have to brave the gauntlet of all the whackos out front screaming at you "oh please don't vote for more Kamala taxes, she is evil.....and then the Trumpers and their regalia bullshit...so, I get past that, thank God....I could not see the end of the line it snaked around and around like the airport security line...it was at least 2 hours...in the rain...what bullshit. They had maybe eight or ten voting kiosks set up for the crowd, but the biggest delay was checking voter ID...of course, one little old lady there. I guess I'll try again later today.

 

If your vote didn't matter, they wouldn't work so hard to suppress it.
