She says she was at the wrong place at the wrong time with the wrong type of people.

She is the wrong type of people.

"the bigger the lie and the more often it is told, the simple minded will believe it." : Adolph Hitler.

Over 30,000 lies while in office: Donald Trump. Shit, Hitler was a novice compared to our favorite depraved psychopathic orange god. ;)

Trump is also the wrong type of people.

Trump is the worst in the context that he knowingly sets up situations that are ripe for violence and lets other people do the dirty work for him. They get blamed for it, and they should because they knowingly violated the law. But Trump insulates himself from it, at least temporarily. He's finally feeling the pressure of the justice system on him this year.

Rioting couple from MO sentenced to two weeks in jail.

    https://www.kansascity.com/news/local/article287827235.html

    excerpt:

"A St. Joseph couple who documented their breach of the Capitol during the Jan. 6 riot — one later running for school board after pleading guilty — were sentenced Friday to 14 days of jail and three years’ probation.

Steven and Kimberly Dragoo also were each fined $5,000 and must each pay $500 restitution for damage to the Capitol, which the government says totaled more than $2.9 million. The sentencing hearing was held before Judge Beryl A. Howell in U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia."

Trump was against U.S. aid to Ukraine until his influence in Congress waned. GOP members became concerned that they were in the 2024 election year and needed to show results.

After he was finally defeated in Congress, Trump changed his tune on aid to Ukraine.

    Trump Deflates

    excerpt:

"On aid to Ukraine, Trump got his way for 16 months. When Democrats held the majority in the House of Representatives in 2022, they approved four separate aid requests for Ukraine, totaling $74 billion. As soon as Trump’s party took control of the House, in January 2023, the aid stopped. Every Republican officeholder understood: Those who wished to show loyalty to Trump must side against Ukraine.

At the beginning of this year, Trump was able even to blow up the toughest immigration bill seen in decades—simply to deny President Joe Biden a bipartisan win. Individual Senate Republicans might grumble, but with Trump opposed, the border-security deal disintegrated."

    So much winning.

    Trump Deflates

    excerpt:

"Republicans lost the House in 2018 because they were beaten in districts once held by George H. W. Bush, Newt Gingrich, and Eric Cantor. They lost the presidency in 2020 in great part because their vote eroded among white suburban men. They lost the Senate in 2021 because Trump fatigue cost them two seats in Georgia. They lost Senate seats and governorships in 2022 because they put forward Trump-branded candidates such as Blake Masters and Kari Lake in Arizona and Doug Mastriano in Pennsylvania."

Trump is still relying heavily on Save America PAC to try to save himself.

    https://www.politico.com/news/2024/04/20/trump-legal-fees-spending-00153508

    excerpt:

"MAGA Inc., the pro-Trump super PAC that has been bankrolling Save America, continued to rake in cash in March, with $14 million raised led by massive donations from familiar GOP donors. Linda McMahon, the former WWE CEO who led the Small Business Administration under Trump, gave $5 million to the super PAC, while Nevada real estate magnate Robert Bigelow gave more than $4 million. Most of those funds cannot go to Save America, as MAGA Inc. is limited in what it can transfer based on what Save America previously gave to the super PAC during the 2022 cycle."

Cheung desperately tries to brush off various observers who have seen Trump falling asleep repeatedly in court.

Trump Rages About His Trial Sketch Artist, Courtroom Nap Reports

    excerpt:

“None of these sources know what the hell they’re talking about and clearly have no access to any type of factual information,” says Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung. “These are the types of losers who will try to peddle fantasy as fact because they live miserable existences.”

Trump Rages About His Trial Sketch Artist, Courtroom Nap Reports

    excerpt:

"Trump was especially incensed about the order Friday morning. “People are allowed to speak about me and I have a gag order, just to show you how much more unfair it is,” he ranted to reporters outside the courtroom, before calling the people who continue to talk about him “real scum.”

To those who’ve known Trump for a long time, or who used to work for him, it’s no surprise that the gravity and process of this criminal trial would uniquely, severely grate on him.

“I was actually just thinking this morning about how cold [Trump] kept complaining to be yesterday. In his normal world, someone would have jumped up and run, not walked, to get the temperature perfect for him,” says Stephanie Grisham, Trump’s former White House press secretary who fell out with him years ago. “This entire experience must be beyond uncomfortable for him, not just the fact that it dives into such personal details, but he has absolutely no control for probably the first time since he was a young child.”"

I think that trump is responsible for the escalating , wanton acts of violence we see every day. He constantly calls for violence upon those that he opposes. I believe that attitude has / is spreading throughout society. Wanna have some fun? Just punch the shit outta some stranger. And the the lack of respect for opposing opinions --the breakdown of civil society by millions who are implicitly "given permission " to be assholes like trump. He, at least has shown the world how sniveling, cowardly republicans have zero scruples.

What happens if Trump gets convicted ahead of November? | The Hill

    excerpt:

“He’s the only person in America who could probably be charged in four different cases and have his popularity among his base go up, because the base is already convinced that he’s affected, that he’s being targeted,” Saltzburg said.

Still, a conviction would brand him a felon — and that could turn off some key voters, including independents and some law-and-order Republicans.

“If he emerges from the trial a convicted felon … I don’t think that that’s going to play well with the independent voters, even though they may not be a huge population,” Saltzburg said. “People will hesitate, I think, before they vote for a convicted felon.”

Will Thomas notes that all of Trump's felony charges in four different jurisdictions stem from his actions as president or a presidential candidate.

Trump can claim it's all politically motivated by his political opponents, but it was still his willful, avoidable political behavior that precipitated the 91 felony charges against him.

He had a choice to concede his 2020 election loss and avoid the insurrection at the Capitol and to at least try to stop it once it started (federal DC election subversion case and GA state criminal cases).

He had a year and a half to return the government documents but haggled endlessly with the authorities (federal documents criminal case in FL).

He could have left the Stormy Daniels issue alone but was concerned about losing the 2016 election (hush money criminal state case in NY).

He did all of it to himself.

Trump's lack of experience in government made him naive about the consequences of trying to be an authority answerable to no one. It was effective for him in the civilian entertainment world where he could manipulate situations and bury embarrassing stories about himself using people like Michael Cohen and David Pecker.

His authoritarianism and the response by the justice system are reaching a climax in the criminal docket.

He still faces numerous lawsuits against him in the civil docket, such as ones filed by the police officers of DC and the Capitol who were injured by his mob (140 injuries, one death, and four suicides). He has lost all his attempts in court at preventing those suits from advancing. His loyalists like Giuliani and Lindell are already experiencing the financial consequences.

    Severe weather warnings are useful.

The U.S. needs a national severe Trump threat to democracy warning to protect the citizens.

Opinion: Trump warns his supporters of bad weather, but welcomed the Jan. 6 hurricane

    excerpt:

"Yet on January 6, 2021, as Trump supporters laid siege to the Capitol — and 129 of those participants have been charged with using a deadly or dangerous weapon or causing serious bodily injury to police officers who tried to maintain law and order — Trump was silent for more than three hours rather than swiftly putting out a statement similar to the call to his North Carolina supporters to immediately “leave the site” for the safety of all.

Instead, as member Rep. Elaine Luria, a Virginia Democrat, said during a July 2022 hearing of the bipartisan House committee charged with investigating the Jan. 6 attack, “Trump sat in his dining room and watched the attack on television while his senior-most staff, closest advisers and family members begged him” to put out a statement urging his supporters to immediately leave. Luria added, “When lives and our democracy hung in the balance, President Trump refused to act because of his selfish desire to stay in power.”

We saw dramatically different conduct by Trump in the face of these two events. On Saturday, after the National Weather Service warned of the likelihood of dangerous winds and hail, Trump appeared to be concerned for supporters whom he desperately needs to win the battleground state of North Carolina — which he barely won in 2020 by less than 1.5%. Trump promptly directed his faithful voters to leave to avoid danger."

Melania hasn't shown up with Trump at his criminal trial in NY.

She hasn't been seen with him in any of his criminal proceedings.

She hasn't been on the campaign trail with him.

The closest she came was when she was seen walking with Trump when he voted in one of the primaries.

That was torture for Trump. Hearing some of the jurors being interviewed out loud and some saying he was bellicose. Trump wasn't able to respond except for perhaps throwing his arms up and grunting which elicited a warning from the judge.
