Trump is feeling the ramifications of it now. His stall tactics to prevent civil suits against him related to his riot have failed in court.

It's another burden on him during the 2024 election year.

The civil suits against Trump appear to be mainly by police officers who were at his riot.

It's going to be a strange dichotomy for Trump to be defending himself during the 2024 election year against civil suits by police officers while he's selectively attending wakes of killed police officers in urban areas like NY to try to promote his pro-police mantra.

Makes you wonder if folks that would spend $60 to purchase 'Donald Trump's Bible' actually believe that he wrote it. :worried:

In the video, Trump said it was the King James version.

Trump could market it as the King Trump version.

    https://www.salon.com/2024/03/27/ca...ay-taking-advantage-of-judges-rookie-problem/

    excerpt:

"That factor presents a "bigger problem" than Trump's frequent delay tactics because she appears to have "lost control of the trial," David Schultz, a Hamline University legal studies and political science professor, told Salon.

"The fact that she's [held] a bunch of hearings, she doesn't have clear orders, she's all over the map — I think it's a rookie problem, or relative rookie problem, that she just does not have control over the courtroom, and Trump's taking advantage of it," Schultz said, contrasting Cannon's handling of Trump's lawyers with that of New York Judge Juan Merchan, who sternly set a trial date in the former president's Manhattan criminal case on Monday and scolded Trump's legal team for their latest delay attempt.

"Every frivolous argument that Trump has raised, [Cannon has] entertained, going back to the search warrants that were executed at Mar-a-Lago," Rahmani added, referencing Cannon's appointment of an independent arbiter in response to a Trump lawsuit to parse the records the FBI seized from the property. A federal appeals court panel of judges unanimously reversed that appointment, stating that Cannon overstepped her authority."

Former employees for RNC who were let go when Trump took it over are being asked during interviews if they think the 2020 election was stolen from Trump.

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2024/03/26/rnc-2020-election-stolen-trump-hiring/

    excerpt:

"RNC staffers were told en masse in early March that they were being let go but could reapply for jobs, and the application process has included an interview with the Trump advisers. Those advisers this week are vetting former employees and some laid-off employees — whose last day is Friday — to decide how many can either return or stay with the RNC."

Bibles weren't found at Trump's properties. Just a lot of secret government documents.

It's what would be expected considering it was mostly police who were injured on the receiving end of Trump's rioters.

The police union said that about 140 police officers were injured by the riot that Trump helped incite and for which he neglected to stop it for hours while it ensued.

    Article from January 2021.

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/loca...743642-60e2-11eb-9430-e7c77b5b0297_story.html

    excerpts:

"“I have officers who were not issued helmets prior to the attack who have sustained head injuries,” Gus Papathanasiou, union chairman, said in a statement Wednesday. “One officer has two cracked ribs and two smashed spinal discs and another was stabbed with a metal fence stake, to name some of the injuries.”

Capitol Police Officer Brian D. Sicknick died after trying to defend the Capitol from rioters. One Capitol Police officer and one D.C. police officer who were responding on the scene have died by suicide since the attack."

"About 65 D.C. police officers also suffered injuries on Jan. 6, including several concussions from head blows from various objects, including metal poles ripped from inauguration-related scaffolding and even a pole with an American flag attached, D.C. police officials have said. Other injuries included swollen ankles and wrists, bruised arms and legs, and irritated lungs from bear and pepper spray."

Trump still won't say what he was doing during the hours the riot ensued.

He told a reporter in 2024 that he will reveal it at an appropriate time.

In court during during the civil trials against him by the police who were injured by his rioters might be an appropriate time for Trump to tell everyone what he was doing during the riot.

NY judge issues gag order on Trump in hush money trial | CNN Politics

    excerpt:

"Merchan said he reviewed Trump’s public statements in his other cases as he decided whether to impose restrictions.

“These extrajudicial statements went far beyond defending himself against ‘attacks’ by ‘public figures,’” Merchan wrote.

“Indeed, his statements were threatening, inflammatory, denigrating, and the targets of his statements ranged from local and federal officials, court and court staff, prosecutors and staff assigned to the cases, and private individuals including grand jurors performing their civic duty,” the judge wrote.

Merchan said that he felt he had to go further than a previous order that jurors’ names and identifying information can’t be publicly released.

“While the protective order related to juror anonymity prevents the dissemination of certain personal information, it is not sufficient to prevent extrajudicial speech targeting jurors and exposing them to an atmosphere of intimidation,” the judge wrote."

Trump could be convicted of violations of the Espionage Act and trying to overthrow the 2020 election, yet, if becomes president again, apparently he will have access to all U.S. government information.

Recourse would be to try to remove him from office via impeachment or using the 25th Amendment to say he is unfit for office.

Kari Lake is doing the same as Giuliani did with his baseless accusations against GA election worker Ruby Freeman and her daughter.

In the end, Lake is admitting that she made baseless accusations and conceding to a defamation suit against her.

Trump used Freeman's name numerous times during his one-hour pressure call to Raffensperger to try to overturn the GA election. Trump did what Lake and Giuliani did but hasn't yet been held accountable.
