March 25th is also the date that Trump's criminal trial in NY is scheduled to begin. The date was finalized last week by the judge.

School board member allegedly bragged about drinking inside the Capitol during the riot.

School board member bragged of drinking Fireball and Coors Light in Capitol on Jan. 6, FBI says

    excerpt:

"WASHINGTON — An elected member of a Virginia school board — who allegedly bragged about drinking Fireball and Coors Light in the U.S. Capitol during the Jan. 6 attack and said he was in touch with a member of the far-right Oath Keepers that day — was arrested by federal authorities Tuesday.

Miles Adkins, a member of the Frederick County School Board in Virginia, faces four misdemeanor charges: entering and remaining in a restricted building, disruptive conduct in a restricted building, disorderly conduct in a Capitol building and unlawful picketing in a Capitol building. Court records show that Adkins was scheduled to make his first appearance in a federal courtroom in Charlottesville on Tuesday."

Trump would probably love to go back to the days when he unjustifiably stiffed reputable family-run businesses out of $50,000 who did good work for him that he claimed was shoddy.

His current situation with the civil fraud judgment against him is costing him about $114,000 interest each day.

The fact that Trump has great financial resources means that he is able to pay the bond.

Trump's attorneys are turning the argument backwards.

Trump's attorneys are arguing that he shouldn't have to pay the bond because he is rich.

They're saying that because Carroll said Trump is rich, she doesn't need protection from the court to force Trump to post the money upfront before he appeals the judgment because Trump is rich and can be trusted to pay the full amount later if he loses the appeal.

Lawyers: Trump shouldn’t have to pay E. Jean Carroll bond due to 'great financial resources'

    excerpt:

"Having argued to the jury that President Trump has great financial resources, Plaintiff is in no position to contradict herself now and contend that she requires the protection of a bond during the brief period while post-trial motions are pending," Trump's legal team argued in their motion for a stay.

Cannon also hinted that she won't allow Trump to have personal access to the classified documents that may be decided at a later hearing.

Knowing Cannon, such a decision by her could take months.

A money lifeline for Trump worth $4 billion.

The SEC approved the merger for Trump media company in February 2024..

Trump could petition a waiver of the six-month restriction on selling the stock.

He could potentially use the money to save himself from the judgments against him in his fraud cases.

Trump Media’s Impending Merger May Give Him a Financial Lifeline

    excerpt:

"Former President Donald J. Trump’s stake in Trump Media & Technology Group, his social media company, could be worth as much as $4 billion once a long-delayed merger closes."

Trump says his trade war created jobs for Americans.

Trump says his trade war triggered job gains. Here's why that didn't happen.

    excerpt:

"Trump's tariffs decreased U.S. employment by 166,000 jobs, according to a study from the nonprofit Tax Foundation, which cited an increase in import costs for U.S. employers. A separate study from the U.S.-China Business Council estimated up to nearly 250,000 lost jobs as a result of the tariffs.

The manufacturing sector drew special attention from Trump, who touted the potential for rejuvenating U.S. production.

However, in 2019, the Federal Reserve Board found that the tariffs had led to a 1.4% decline in manufacturing employment, which amounts to roughly 175,000 missing jobs that would've otherwise been created in the absence of the policy, Katheryn Russ, an economics professor at the University of California, Davis, told ABC News.

The primary reason for the job losses, experts said, owes to the increased costs for materials imported by U.S. firms, which in many cases raised prices to make up for the shortfall and in turn lost out on business. Retaliatory tariffs, which raised the prices paid for U.S. exports, also negatively impacted jobs, the experts added."
