Trump vows to stay in the race even if convicted

    excerpt:

"Trump predicted he would not be convicted and said he did not anticipate taking a plea deal, though he left open the possibility of doing so “where they pay me some damages.”"

I believe, that the longer Trump's in the race for the White House, the more damage that will inflict on the Guardians of Plutocracy.

If he is able to debate in Republican Debate, he will not only get destroyed, any Republican sympathizing with Trump, will ruin themselves for the final run off.
Those that go against him, will further divide what little is left of the GOP .

2024 for the GOP, Historically, is the equivalent of 1968 for the Democrats.
The GOP is going to get routed in 2024 ( you don't need a crystal ball ) and their wounds will be self inflicted and the damage will be multi Generational.

In sentencing hearings, the judge imposes a fine and asks the convict if he is remorseful.

Trump demands that he be awarded money from the justice system and that it show remorse for prosecuting and convicting him.

Melania, Ivanka, and Jared seem to have gone quiet about Trump's federal indictment.

Eric and Don Jr. are usually very quick to be extremely vocal defending Trump. They seem less vocal this time.

Eric was quick to respond when Trump was indicted in NY in late March, referring to it as a 'third world prosecution'.

Trump's valet, Walt Nauta, was indicted along with Trump in the documents case.

Nauta was with Trump this weekend on the campaign trail.

To the author of that article: No, McCarthy isn't bluffing. He really is that devoted to and defensive of Trump, even though Trump had McCarthy nearly injured or killed in the riot and refused to call off the riot when McCarthy demanded it to Trump on the phone while his windows where being shattered at the Capitol by the rioters.

If McCarthy had been injured or killed during the riot and the Capitol police shot one of Trump rioters who did it, Trump would be defending the rioter and insulting the police officer.

A political cartoon is needed for that scenario, with the ghost of McCarthy materializing through the walls of Mar-a-Lago saying that he still supports Trump.

Trump's attorney Alina Habba is now saying that the documents were Trump's momentos.

Habba: "So if I'm someone with documnemts that I have a right to have as the president who left the White House, do I want people rummaging through my personal items? No."
