"After he spoke, US District Judge Amit Mehta sentenced the St. Marys, Kansas, father of four to 30 days of home detention, two years probation, a $2,000 fine and 60 hours of community service.

“His total time there contributed to the overall chaos and mayhem that day,” Mehta said at the sentencing hearing, held via video conference in the US District Court for the District of Columbia. “His mere presence there served as encouragement to others. What happened that day was unprecedented …. everybody who entered that building made history that day, and not in a good way.”

Rebegila is also required to pay $500 in restitution for damage to the Capitol building, which prosecutors say totaled about $1.5 million.

Before learning his sentence, he said, “I do take full responsibility for my actions that day. … And I’ll never be caught up in this situation again.”"

At his recent rally in Selma, NC, Trump said he's perhaps the most honest person God ever created.

He also thinks he's more humble than others would ever understand.

 

God might not even understand Trump's humbleness.

 

Trump abruptly ended an NPR interview in January 2022 in a similar fasion. He couldn't produce evidence about his allegations that the election was stolen from him.

He ended the NPR event about midway through the scheduled length.

Hillary Clinton Says Trump Missed the Deadline to File His Massive RICO Lawsuit, Adds that All His Legal Claims Are Wrong Anyway

"“The gravamen of [Trump’s] claims concerns [sic] alleged events occurring in 2016 and 2017, so the statute of limitations on his claims expired long ago,” the motion argues, citing the Federal Rule of Civil Procedure that governs dismissals based on “time-barred” claims.

For his case against Hillary, Trump is using an attorney who had been suspended and who wrote a pro-Trump book from a Florida group with a website named LegalBrains which was removed from the web.

Durham has been using his special counsel position (given to him by Barr just before he resigned from Trump's administration) to use 5-year-late court cases to write lengthy revisionist narratives (such as the 27-page indictment of Sussman for an incident in 2016) to give Trump the feeling of retaliating against those whom he perceives abused him.

Capitol rioter caught after FBI finds recording of him boasting to Uber driver

On 6 January 2021, Jerry Braun hailed an Uber in Washington DC and got in the car, nursing a bleeding eye wound. The Uber driver noticed and asked, “So, has it been violent all day?”

“Well it started around, right when I got there. I tore down the barricades,” Braun bragged.

The conversation, captured on video by the driver’s recording device installed on the dashboard, triggered a 15-month long investigation by the FBI. Earlier this month, on 12 April, Braun was finally arrested by federal authorities and charged with violent entry or disorderly conduct, obstruction during civil disorder, and entering and remaining on restricted grounds, according to an affidavit by Lucas Bauers, FBI special agent.

Braun boasted openly to the Uber driver about his involvement in the deadly riots, which resulted in the deaths of five people. When he explained he’d torn down the barricades, the driver asked, “You did? Why?”

“Well, because, so we could get to the Capitol,” Braun replied.

 

If these folks (rioters) would have kept their mouths shut, not post anything on social media, etc., most could have gotten away with it!

 

In this digital age millions of people post pictures and videos of every mundane thing they do during the course of the day.

How could they not post videos of what some Capitol rioters have described as the best day of their life?
