The judge informed Trump's rioters of their gullibility.

'I Want the Sentence to Hurt': Judge Heavily Fines But Doesn't Jail Kentucky Couple Who Breached Capitol on Jan. 6

    excerpt:

"Walton also sharply criticized the conditions that led to the attack, in which supporters of Donald Trump tried to stop the certification of the results of the 2020 presidential election.

“Both of you were gullible enough that based upon statements being made, for which there was proof to support the allegations, you all bought in on it, hook line and sinker,” Walton said. “You took your money to come all the way up to D.C. and let yourselves get involved in a mob situation that should be an embarrassment to anyone in this country.”

“If it’s not you, it’s other people who are buying in on this bogus proposition,” Walton continued. “What happens to America if every time someone loses, they turn around and say, ‘I won’? We’re tearing our country apart!”

“I worry about the future of our country when we have this divide that now exists, that we’re prepared to engage in this type of behavior,” he added. “It’s ripping the heart out of this country.”"

Disturbing that people who held what would be considered respectable and caring job positions could be so misled and radicalized by Trump that they broke the law and committed violence at the Capitol (a nurse for 20 years, paramedic, pediatric therapist, police officers, a retired firefighter who struck three police officers in the head with a fire extinguisher).

McCarthy has changed his mind about Trump and Cheney, but in opposite directions.

McCarthy initially said Trump was partly responsible for the riot at the Capitol but later consistently defended him.

McCarthy initially defended Cheney for voting to impeach Trump but later spoke against her.

Cheney's Consultants Are Given an Ultimatum: Drop Her, or Be Dropped

    excerpt:

"After initially defending Cheney to House Republicans angry at her for voting to impeach Trump earlier this year, McCarthy abandoned her after she continued to speak out against the former president. In May, with McCarthy’s blessing, party lawmakers ousted Cheney from her role as the third-ranking House Republican.

Since then, Cheney has sharply criticized McCarthy and has made clear she will not support him as leader or, if Republicans take the House next year, as speaker. After she joined the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack, organized by Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., McCarthy called Cheney and another dissident on the panel “Pelosi Republicans.”

The Republican leader’s allies believe that Cheney, by continuing to lament Trump’s grip on the party, is threatening their prospects in the midterm elections at a moment when President Joe Biden’s declining approval ratings have otherwise left the GOP well positioned."

How much do you want to bet this is one judge who won't get death threats? Maybe someone should send him a copy of all the death threats the other judges are getting.

Rick Saccone, a former state representative position in PA, lost his adjunct professorship at Saint Vince College after his involvement at the Capitol.

Derrick Evans was a newly elected state representative in WV. He resigned after he was arrested for his involvement in the Capitol riot.

Many other Trump rioters lost their jobs. The ones who had professional positions will have the greatest difficulty in reentering the workforce in similar types of jobs. They may be relegated to assuming lower level jobs or starting their own businesses.

Maryland Man Fired After Seen Wearing Work Badge In Photo Of Him Storming Capitol

    excerpt:

FREDERICK, Md. (WJZ) — A Frederick, Maryland-based marketing company has fired one of their employees after he was among the rioters photographed at the U.S. Capitol Wednesday. The man was wearing his work badge at the event.

"In a statement, the company said: “Navistar Direct Marketing was made aware that a man wearing a Navistar company badge was seen inside the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021, during the security breach. After review of the photographic evidence the employee in question has been terminated for cause.”"

Trump's protesters who were arrested, and who have said they were justified in rioting at the Capitol because the election was allegedly stolen from Trump, weren't able to convince their (former) employers or the courts.

Court nixes Trump rule limiting state authority to block pipelines

    excerpt:

"A federal court on Thursday nixed a Trump-era rule that limited state and tribal authority to block projects that could impact their waters, including pipelines.

California Federal Judge William Alsup vacated the rule and sent it back to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for further proceedings.

The Clinton appointee's move came after the agency asked the court to remand the issue back to the EPA amid litigation filed by states and environmental groups challenging the rule. However, the EPA did not ask for the rule to be vacated."

Someone should tell them to be grateful they aren't going to prison, like they would if they were black. Then send them all the death threats the judges are receiving. It'll give them something to think about, while job hunting.

Donald Duck apparently knows nothing about technology, and his website has already been hacked and taken down, but his Wall Street stock has doubled in price. Even with his bank accounts being frozen, the Duck just keeps on going like the energizer bunny. By the time he's through, he'll have squandered all the money conservatives have to donate to politics for the next decade. Couldn't happen to a nicer crowd.

'You actually deserve to hang': Elections chief reveals death threats after Trump targeted him

    excerpt:

"During a December 5 rally in Georgia last year Donald Trump turned his focus to a local official, showing supporters a video of Richard Barron, the Fulton County elections director.

"So, if you just take the crime of what those Democratic workers were doing," Trump told attendees, "that's ten times more than I need to win the state."

VICE reports it was then that Barron started getting attacked in a deluge of voicemails, many of which "were graphic and specifically called for his death."

"Hey, Rick," one racist and homophobic voicemail said. "Two hundred and thirty four years ago, the founding caucasian fathers of America gave us the Second Amendment. Time's running out, Richard. We're coming after you and every motherfucker that stole this election with our Second Amendment, subpoenas be damned, you're going to be served lead, you fucking enemy enemy communist cocksucker. You will be served lead."

"Hey, Rick," another said. "Watching this video of you on YouTube. I can't believe you can't count votes in Fulton County. It's absolutely incredible. How deceivious? How deceitful you are? You need to get your act together or people like me really may go after people like you.""
