Seems we are going to have bigger problems on our hands in the future that people are not looking that far ahead about. It saddens me greatly....and the innocent wildlife that have done nothing to us....Why wouldn't taking care of planet earth home be top priority for anyone? I don't understand and never will.

i know, and it always saddens me and I find it always unbelievable anyway...but instead of looking for cleaner, better ways to do things.....of doing things, ....we will just continue to throw mud back and forth and play the blame game and make things worse....as that is where all of the time is going, it seems.

 

Gov. Soctt and Sen. Nelson of Florida are opposed to Trump's oil drilling plans. Trump could have at least brought up the issue when he had lunch with Scott at his golf resort before the announcement. Instead, Trump bitch-slapped him later with the news.

Scott will be challenging Nelson who is a Democrat for the U.S. Senate seat in 2018. Trump's announcement puts a wrench in the gearbox for Scott in the swing state of Florida.

"Gov. Rick Scott, a Republican, said he would oppose offshore drilling in Florida and plans to meet with Zinke to voice his concern.

“My top priority is to ensure that Florida’s natural resources are protected,” said Scott, who is expected to challenge Democratic Sen. Bill Nelson this year.

The topic of oil drilling did not come up Sunday when Scott had lunch with Trump at the president’s golf club in West Palm Beach, Scott spokesman John Tupps said."

 

Trump makes an 'appearance' in the press briefing room at the White House...on a video screen.

Trump was at the White House at the time. Instead of spending time making a video he could have simply walked down the hall and did it in person.

Trump may someday find the courage to do a real press conference. In the meantime, he should consider installing a robot Trump in the briefing room.

In similar fashion, instead of doing a meaningful press conference at the end of the year to highlight accomplishments, which is tradtional for presidents, Trump did an exchange with a reporter from the NY Times in the noisy dining room of his golf resort which made numerous words unintelligible.

Trump made Bannon his chief strategist and gave him a permanent seat on the National Security Council with the generals. Now Trump acts like Bannon hardly belonged to the administration.

Its good that you getting back on topic. But could you say something meaningful instead of just repeating the same thing over and over again.

Trump, just like any other president, will naturally be judged on his overall performance. It's already clear he's a dishonest bluffing businessman more than anything else.
