Its absolutely amazing I prove beyond a shadow of a doubt WHAT WAS ACTUALLY SAID and get oh "he speaks in double talk" or oh thats not what he meant...he turns millions into billions and I get oh he filed bankruptcy and this and that, The mental gymnastics that his detractors display are why he has such a fervent base.
I will criticize the fuck outta him and still understand that he did some decent work with the economy unfortunately I realize this is not the norm he inspires a "love him or hate" ethos. and that division is a major problem it seems people have forgotten how to disagree

So you are basically trawling the internet for quotes to attack Obama from whatever context.

So even though you have some extreme social Darwinist based right wing views such as not thinking slavery would be ok if it was advantageous to you, you are happy to use a quote from a socialist because it seems to you anti-Obama.

Its more about point scoring than integrity of thought.

Thing is many people on the left were critical of the Obama admin, I have been – that doesn’t mean they support the Trump debacle and I certainly don’t.

A strength and weakness of the left is that they can be critical of their own side, this is good because out of that comes change and development the problem is that others often try to use those debate to sow division.

Those on the right tend to be much less free thinkers and more likely to be followers that keep to the party line, (just look at all those Senators goose stepping in line with Trump)

You can see this many time because right wingers don’t actually have the ability to defend the ideas they promote, they repeat things without questioning it or wondering if it actually is any good or can stand up to scrutiny, this is why they so often run away from debate.

With all due respect, trump isn't too far behind stumbling and bumbling every fourth or fifth word that emerges out of his pie hole

They apparently selected those dates and places for Trump to make a symbolic show that he supposedly cares about African-Americans.

Trump's crew may be realizing now that it was a mistake. They changed his Tulsa rally to another date.

Trump is still threatening federal military action against Seattle.

Trump appears to be frustrated with the autonomous zone in Seattle, even if it is peaceful. In his mind, it's a case of the police yielding to the public, which goes against the grain of his authoritarian approach.
