Trump is still quiet about the anti-malaria drug he was once touting. Trump officials ignored coronavirus warnings, ousted scientist says in complaint excerpt: "Bright also notes that his skepticism about an anti-malaria drug touted by President Trump as a COVID-19 treatment antagonized senior administration officials. “In an apparent effort to score a short-term political victory for the Administration during the escalating health crisis,” Kadlec’s office “pressured BARDA to promote the malaria drug chloroquine as a therapeutic for COVID-19, despite a clear lack of scientific support,” the complaint says."
You make statements that are very biased to one side because it puts down the other. Then you whine because it's "personal". Maybe don't write something if you don't want to be associated with it. YOU said how you feel so YOU are the one who will be taken down a peg. You are a member of one side of this equation. No matter how you try to deny you do nothing to actuly show it. Like that side does there is a double standard of rules. Uninformed nastiness is to be given but nothing but respect shown,.
Yeah I'm a social democrat I never deny that. So the reason I mostly break down one side is valid. Unlike you I have the balls to stand by something.
Seems someone is still living in the 19th Century, with all the rest of the red neck hephatrump supporters.
Yea right, web balls. Seriously, it's weird how intolerant you are. This is exactly why I don't pick sides.
I'm intolerant of racists and people who enable them and the general culture of white people getting offended that others are offended. After all they are the real victims. You check some boxes.
Especially in a time like this. Not picking a side as you think is picking the side of evil. You have chosen to support fascism because someone asking for rights upset you too much. So double down on the hurt feelings. Cut off your nose to spite your face.
Yeah the people who say they are anti-fascist are fascist and you are doing the same old thing. Your mistakes don't matter because someone else makes them too. How do Democrats make it OK to be fascist? If you don't pick a side or wear a red hat you now support fascism in Trump. That is what matters. If you were as smart and neutral as you claim you would agree. You don't because I hurt your teams feelings.
Cacan't we all just get along? I can say that because at one time Rodney King lived less than a half mile from where I did.
We ARE NOT going back to the 1950's - no matter what attempt to re-visit history is made. The world - especially the U.S. - is more divided and hate-filled - fueled by the divider-in-chief, Trump. I'm old enough to know that back then, people didn't act like spoiled children as they do today. Even differing political opinions were civil and not hate-filled. Trump encourages violent, hate-filled confrontation by urging on the armed hooligans to "stand up for your freedoms." WhenTrump had the chance to stand up and defend freedom, daddy got him a deferment because he had "bone spurs." And those stupid knuckle-draggers are blind and brainless enough to be Trump's political pawns!!! So forget the nice, warm picture of a happy Thanksgiving as seen above. Trump has effectively poured gas on a simmering fire of hate and division. If this violent confrontation behavior keeps up - we'll be in a civil war soon enough - mark my words. And it isn't just Repubs that know how to shoot. Lots of blood will be shed - lots of death. This is just another repeat of history for those who refuse to learn from it ………….. so are doomed to repeat it once again. A scripture passage from Matthew - chapter 24 vs. 6 to 13 - "You will hear of wars, and reports of wars; see that you are not alarmed, for these things must happen, but it will not yet be the end. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; there will be famines and earthquakes from place to place. All these are the beginning of the labor pains. Then they will hand you over to persecution, and they will kill you. You will be hated by all nations because of my name. And then many will be led into sin; they will betray and hate one another. Many false prophets will arise and deceive many; and because of the increase in evildoing, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who perseveres to the end will be saved." How many here would say that these times are filled with love??? Or even common decency??? Or civility??? Love of our fellow man is ridiculed and made fun of. Not conforming to the "tough guy" image - yelling and barking at others with hate - is viewed today as weakness. Threatening with guns is in style these days. Sarcastic comments like, "Oh, did somebody not get a HUG today??" are prevalent these days. The Pharisees asked Jesus what the greatest commandment is. He said, "You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. The second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. The whole law and the prophets depend on these two commandments." DOES THE ABOVE SOUND LIKE THE U.S. THESE DAYS??
Trump seemingly appealed to hard scientific data at his briefing to prevent a premature reopening of states. The next day he told governors to 'make a deal' with protesters who want to end cornavirus safety measures. Knowing that it would touch a nerve in part of his electorate, he publicly conflated gun ownership rights with the virus safety guidelines that his own administration issued, as if his own guidelines violated gun rights but that the frustration should be vented on the governors. Trump's 'unhinged rantings' could lead to violence amid a pandemic, Gov. Jay Inslee says By Isolde Raftery Apr 17, 2020 at 1:31 pm Gov. Jay Insee takes on Trump, says 'unhinged rantings' could lead to violence excerpt: "Inslee had called out Trump for being two-faced -- saying one thing in official channels, but another to his supporters on Twitter. "Just yesterday, the president stood alongside White House officials and public health experts and said science would guide his plan for easing restrictions," Inslee wrote. "Trump slowly read his script and said the plan was based on ‘hard, verifiable data’ and was done ‘in consultation with scientists, experts and medical professionals across government.’" Less than 24 hours later, Inslee said, "the president is off the rails." "He’s not quoting scientists and doctors but spewing dangerous, anti-democratic rhetoric." Inslee said that he hopes someday "we can look at today’s meltdown as something to be pitied, rather than condemned. But we don’t have that luxury today. There is too much at stake.""
