Mind is not an element of body?! You think it not embodied? Disembodiment is a myth. The sense of self, its conception, ego, the mind itself, is of the body.

Consciousness is physical, its movement is no removal job.

    LOL!

No, I know better. Your 'more' is of years. Come correct with the realness your dopeness. Bring the noise on why you want death to be of birth since you can't tell us how it is.

The body is a container for the mind. Can you not remove parts of the body, such as limbs and the mind still be whole?

Physical, yes I do agree with this. Whether it can be removed or not and transferred to another medium would require more understanding than is currently available of how exactly consciousness manifests itself.

but the brain, which holds the mind.....is sort of the computer of the entire body, right?....so if that is removed.....what is left?....just a body, right?

That's dopes silicon syrup, his clap-trap, his kool aid. Resist! You must resist! :-D The body is no device. It's its own communication. Consciousness is physical.

in the computer analogy: the brain would be the computer hardware, the mind would be the software .. the code that is running on the hardware. A computer is nothing, useless without the code to tell it what to do.

    Dejavu:
I realize he made this same argument previously. I still believe that the body is a container of the mind, controlled by the mind, and used by the mind for it's own continuation and expression of itself.

I do agree that consciousness is physical, all things in this universe are physical.

    definitely not

so is the mind something tangible?....is the mind the electricity in the brain? I know you said software, but what is that in the head exactly?

the mind is not tangible in the sense that the software running on a computer is not tangible. it is information, and the manipulation of information which is defined by the physical state of some medium. electricity seems to be key here, tho any other force of nature should suffice.

a mind creates a model of the world in which it lives thru patterns of electrical signaling

I'm wondering how making chicken salad out of your own raised chickens is not in tune with nature?

I did, twice slow poke, yippie kiay motherfucker. Sperm and egg come to dissolution and resolution. Unraveling and resurrecting. Beginning with cellular mitosis to cellular senescence which been attributed to the shortening of telomeres with each cell cycle; when telomeres become too short, the cells die. The length of telomeres is therefore the molecular clock or time bomb The quantity of the hematopoietic stem cells that produce the blood components residing in the bone marrow of human beings have been found to decline with ageing. Stem cells regenerative capacity is affected by the age of the recipient.
