he sure grew

when you mention the new one he is still a newborn in my head lol

 

i received 2 packages recently from china (more than a week ago)

the tracking on both still says "in transit"

both orders came from the same factory but were sent a week apart,,sent the same way


item 1 took 4 weeks to get here
item 2 took 2 1/2 weeks

thanks they are too much fun. Oz is bridging small gaps, he will be running soon if hes anything like big brother. loves to hide things in drawers. likes dancing and making noise.

and he has not turned down a single food item yet. i think kids should eat what their parents do, so last night he had some tikka masala. this kid will eat anything, i love it!

 

i want to download pokemon go just to see if there are any in my yard. i really have no interest walking around playing a video game when i can enjoy a beer playing one at home....maybe if i ever visit vegas again i will play it....or key west.

it drove my mom nuts when she would ask what i want and said "i dont care" then she would give me choices and would still not care. then she would get angry and say she isnt making anything until i decide...and i would say i dont care if we eat or not. i have gone without dinner on many occasions because i did that so often.

 

i wasnt allowed to be picky. i dont do bananas, or prepared mustard. and shrimp makes me sick if i eat the meat, though its been a long time since i tested that. it took a few times of "wasting" food being sick before my mom would let me pick out the shrimp bits. the sauce they were in was fine, its just something about the actual meat i guess. and im not a fan of spicy burning. my lips will start to burn just in the presence of certain peppers.

older boy doesnt like green beans unless they are fresh, but hes never really had a chance to be too picky either.

you may get some in your yard. you could just wait outside for one to wander past your house, lol. but you do need to stock up on "supplies". anywhere theres a post office, police station, museum, a landmark of any kind is likely on the map already as a pokestop or a gym. niantic made ingress, so there is a well established map of portals on that game, uploaded and submitted by players, that have been reused for pokemon go.
so you walk your dog, tracking an AR critter. you take your kid to the park, walk around. you go to grab a burrito at your favorite place, walk past a mural downtown, etc. there are ingress portals all over the place, its just not as widely known or popular as pokemon.

i saw a post today recommending that if you have extra lures you should set them near the children's museum, since a lot of kids are stuck inside and cant venture out, you can take the pokemon to them. i think thats a great idea.

 

another weird thing my dad does is all of a sudden he takes a fit about eating certain things that he always ate

like pork chops for instance...all of a sudden he will say he hates pork chops and doesnt want them anymore


then a few weeks later he'll mention how he never gets pork chops anymore ........or he'll go shopping and come home with some

None in my yard. Just got one in my house and there are none on the map. It's telling me to walk around so I was done with that game. There is only one monument in town...maybe in the county. So maybe I will check there or maybe I will delete it.

 

Hubby did that with chicken. He was eating chicken when his brother called to tell him that he had lung cancer. He died a month later. Hubby doesn't think that impacted how he feels about chicken but I think it might have.

Daddy use to get tired of the same thing. He'd tell my mom to pick up whatever was on the shelf next to what she usually got.

Then you can go out in your front yard and yell at the Pokemon to "get out of my yard"... Of course your neighbors might wonder a wee bit about your sanity.

 

My granddaughter found 4 here day before yesterday. I don't know who they are or what they want!

 

OoOoOo if Dale Jr. is ruled out next week they're going to put Jeff Gordon in the car at Indianapolis. How exciting!

 

i was never super into pokemon, but i loved the images. i drew several on my brothers walls and painted them, they were so awesome (i did charizard, moltres, squirtle, oddish, i think a tentacool too) but i recognize so many of them. im nerdier than i thought, and i thought i was pretty nerdy.

 

Nothing too exciting around me but we ran into a bunch of kids tonight who laughed at us so I assume they were doing the same thing? Though we had our dog so like, come at me bro! And there's a Pokemon across the street in the neighbors yard, it's a bat. I'm bored of catching it. >.> and ashamed to say... I've already doesn't 9€ :unsure:

 

i'm a grown up so I wont be playing any video games anytime soon


but y'all enjoy yourselves....I heard there is a new camping video game where you don't even have to leave your house to enjoy the outdoors
