The Day That Hip Stood Still

So what have we all got up to in our couple days away? I had a work party at my house so several work friends came and we were up all all night and day on Saturday with a great roaring fire going in my fire drum. We played pool, drank, pilled, smoked and ate pizza as we pulled an all night and day. Burned through a fair bit of wood but was totally worth it and just got to know people outside of work a little better. By early Sunday morning it was just me and Tonez from New York left yo, we got a mad ass fire going to keep warm and then started making a bridge across the fire pit with pine timber and then started betting in how long it would take to burn through. Then we got plastic army men and started making up a game to see if we could cross the bridge before it burned. We just made it up as we went along and we burned our hands so we gave up lol.

Hip being down made me realize how boring my life is.

 

I've been playing guitar this weekend which I havent done in ages. Maybe without HF I coulda been a famous musician. I coulda been a contender

I admit I checked the site on several occasions but I wasn't like going through withdrawals. My back had been so bad this weekend I just didn't really think of online too much. The best I felt was in front of that fire all warmed up. Mind you I was on so many pain killers and the booze and smoke so I just wasn't feeling anything.

I took missus out glasses shopping and I literally could not stand I was in so much pain just hobbling around. It felt like my back was about to snap. One of my friends gave me an atomic bomb of a pain killer, 1000mg of pain killers in one pill then she stressed me not to take it on empty stomach or drinking. I haven't dropped it yet.

 

It actually was a bit weird with the site being down. I guess I took for granted how often I visit this site, especially on the weekends. Accompanies me during my morning coffee, tags along during quiet evenings. Ok, on second thought, that's a bit sad but there it is.

 

Sure is bright in here...

I resorted to watching youtubes about haunted places on Friday night.

I went to the oldest granddaughter's softball tournament on Saturday.

Last night, I watched some stupid sitcom on Hulu - "Mom". I only watched it because the mother reminds me of my former neighbor.

Today, I was rearranging pantry and cabinets in my kitchen.

At no point during the weekend was I in danger of my brain starting to work normally.
