I dont think "The Darkness" is a fitting title for a band who makes a song called "I believe in a thing called love." Not a big fan of their music either

The darkness were just an amusing band for the summer festivals in the uk last year, we had our fun with them, but now it's growing old.

Greenday, The White Stripes and 50 cent aren't really my cup of tea

    Oh you mean this year.
Well no I don't really like greenday or 50cent but I always felt the best bands were the ones you had to dig a little deeper down the line up to find anyway.

I agree, It just so happens that I don't like any of the bands on the lineup for reading this year. Luckily, i'm going to Glastonbury instead :)

Just another one hit wonder. Or at least in North America. They are really big in Britain though.

See, I like them too, and I think their being "different" than most bands out right now is totally refreshing. They don't seem to give a shit what people think of them, and more power to 'em for it.

I have no respect for them at all, especially after what they said about Noel Gallagher.

I remain convinced that they are crap.

good for them i say apart from the fact that oasis were big headed morons that didnt even know the model of guitars that they used but they were quoted as saying they were the new beatles. Now that is just pompus The fact is that noel and his idiot brother couldnt come close to the beatles or any half decent musician they are the ones that deserve no respect mainly because they have not earned any respect to me they are just ignorent violent and just basicly dicks just my own humble opinion at least the darkness are having fun plus they know how to write a half decent song wheneaver oasis are on stage they look like they hate anyone and everyone including theirselves
