i think im upgrading soon too...i need to access to emails and texting...current phone is only good for calls and no data i can only get emails when im near my wifi

 

The ramp has grip on it. I think we were just too slow and he needs to speed up to get momentum. We'll try using it on the stairs outside first with him. If he can learn something not so steep then we can baby step to the truck I feel. my other option is to screw bits of timber on it like little stairs or rungs. There's effort involved in that and still might not work.

 

I bet that baby stepping him on it will do the trick!

 

We'll get there. We will teach him in Deutsch the commands for up and down the ramp. The one word commands in Deutsch are very similar to English so Laura can't be saying she can't speak it. She has no option with this it's how it's getting done, I always wanted him taught in Deutsch.

So I had him heeling beside me yesterday, he just didn't trust the ramp. This big black thing. And then I'd get frustrated, you can see and hear him get frustrated. After 5 mins he just jumps up on the tray, turns around, lays down with his paws over the tray, buries his head and looks at me and the ramp and his face just said it all.. "I'm sorry, but I just don't understand what you want out of me" it was a beautiful moment really, I just hugged him. We tried again, but it was like, he just looked at you and said well why would I use the ramp when I can just easily jump up on in there?

He's learned to jump out better too. Takes it slow.

We'll get there though. I'm sure of it.

cops use german command here for their dogs

probably because most people dont know it so they cant command them to stop biting off their arm

 

My aunt used German commands for her dog and she didn't speak German and was from Irish background.

In other news I deleted my twitter account. Mainly because it's the only social media that has my real name connected to it.

I know that some training schools for dogs still use German to command with, not idea why but they do.

Not that my doxies pay attention in any language.
