i was at the bar today and thinking about when i play darts in a competition. (you mentioning a drink and pool made me want to compare)
i play darts though, not pool so not quite the same...
i will have 2 drinks during the first match and 1 each additional match or one every half hour if it is slow or quick matches.
sober i am good but i am consistently better with a few beers. but too many beers and i am consistently worse.
never played a competitive game while smoking though. no idea how well or bad i would play under those conditions.

Sorry Mr. squirrel but I thought you were being sarcastic with that hash question… I could've easily answered it… Or rhetorical maybe I thought you were being… I have owned those bags for three years now … What's the video guys online that fill those bags with dry ice instead of regular ice … I wanted to try it

you are 100% correct, but if she is a bit crazy then it is still easier to let her go, despite the emotional attachment.

When you fill them with dry ice you can just shake them over tabletop … The latest thing to get the pier extract is to squeeze weed through a 20 ton press… Heated between 200° steel blocks… The weed is encased in tiny little 2 inch screen bags made out of the same material as the hash bags … The extract just oozes out the side of the blocks

A lot of people always say that a few drinks make them better at pool. I'm not too sure lol, I just find it more relaxing and being relaxed I guess is accuracy so maybe there is a valid point to it. Although professional players wouldn't be able to do this while playing I wouldn't think.

Sometimes I think it must be a bit of a shame that pool and darts I guess is primarily in and around a drinking environment. It must be difficult to get young people into it or involved unless you have your own equipment.

I noticed this week that I wasn't getting nervous when I was taking my shot, it was only when I wasn't in control of an outcome. So when I was watching I could feel anxiety and stress, the shakes etc but once I had my next chance at the table it all washed away. I think I've sub consciously become a lot more confident in my own abilities so when it's my turn I am relaxed and focused. But when in watching my opponent play their game, that's when I feel the stress. I prefer this to having the shakes while I'm trying to play. :D

it could be mental or it could be physical but it is a fact that my best games have been while drinking just a couple beers. enough to feel them but not too many to feel drunk.
i seem to ride on momentum, if i am playing well then i am confident and continue to play well. if i am playing bad i start over thinking my strategy and my aim on each dart and it turns into me thinking about where im throwing, rather than just doing it by muscle memory. like i have done thousands of times before.

when you say it like that its like...no big deal. but the house near my hockey rink would feel differently about storms that just quickly pass through.

I'm right now fostering (keeping for a little while) my niece's kitty, Gimli. Well, we're not blood kin but she calls me Aunt Lynn and loves me and I do stuff for her. lol So its the same as being kin, I guess.

She is leaving her husband and needed somewhere for her polydactyl kitty to stay until she finds her own place. He is just 6 toed on the front. He is a year old but doesn't look any older than around 6 months to me. I'll take him this coming week to go get a rabies shot and we'll look into getting him neutered.

Thank goodness she has a lot of family she can stay with but I'm the only one that will let the cat stay here. He is on the (closed for the night) back porch with Princess. Princess is fine because she IS the queen. He has a little nesting area with a blanket on the floor on top of some material. I'm really hoping that everything works out well out there because dang if I know what to do if it doesn't. :-o

He will go out during the day. He is one of the shyest, just sit there and not worry anything cat I've ever been around.

Poor Stephy she was upset but very glad to be able to bring him here until she gets a place. If BB weren't mean as hell I'd bring him inside some but I'm afraid she would traumatize him for life.

I watched Olympic diving tonight and I wonder how in the world those men keep their junk in those little bitty bikini bottoms. mercy sakes. Those runners too! Well their stuff isn't falling out but its dang sure bouncing around. My and my bff don't understand how having all that moving around that isn't terribly distracting. I would think they would keep that in a cup or something! Compression shorts. Something to keep that in place and still!

Aside from the cat, that's been on my mind.

No, I don't have much to think about apparently. lol

I message eBay person. Hello, if I buy 2x of these will you consider combining shipping to Germany? Rah rah rah only eBay sets the prices he says. Okay then.

Next person same question. Of course they'll combine. :)

Go back to first person. Oh that's a shame, I've just committed to buying the exact same thing for a little bit more money from a seller who would combine shipping. :) :) :) thanks anyway. :) :) :)

ebay dosnt make any rules about shipping costs. the guy was probly too lazy to figure out actual costs or (more likely, would have combined shipping and kept the extra money)

one time i was looking for the wall on dvd and i came across an auction for the wall but it didnt say if it was a dvd or cd or vinyl. so i tell the guy and say "i will go find someone else that actually describes their item"
the guy writes me back to tell me that i just bid on one of his other auctions.
i didnt win it and i made it a point after that to not bid on anything he was selling. i dont know why, there wasnt even a principle to it.

I would never ever have the patience to deal with ebay. You have to watch it, keep up with what's happening, see if you want to bid higher because you might not get itetc etc. oh no....

I like Amazon. You shop and look at probably 100 (or more) pictures when you are looking for stuff...you click (and pay), and bam - it'll be delivered.

I wish I could order a house person/mechanic over Amazon and have him delivered here.

There is water in the basement...and its coming from up from the commode down there. yep :yikes:

Every year or so for the past 10 yrs we have had to have roots and similar pulled out of the septic line that runs from the house to the septic tank. Yesterday when I went downstairs to get the last stored cat litter pan, there was "water" on the floor. When the commode flushes, water from either bathroom sink and water from the shower all goes through this line. When it has gotten bogged with roots and plant matter the "water" (JESUSHELPME) backs back up and comes out of the commode.

So yeah...there is that. I successfully put it out of my mind until this morning when I took a shower (smh) and I knew I'd have to explain it all to Mama. You can read that as I had to 1st voice it, then write it, and then try to answer questions...then write some more.

We'll call someone tomorrow. She INSISTS on doing the calling and it just makes me want to :bigcry: because she can't understand them. Sometimes she doesn't even know if she has talked to someone or to an answering machine. lol I just have to laugh about that. Anyway, when I say WE will call, that means she will call...and then I will call the same person to see what they said or if she even talked to them. :D
