we had a couple of okay rains the last week. im looking forward to cooler weather, and more cooking possibilities, and baked goods. had to rush around gathering stuff for a last minute camping trip. im staying home, not going to drag the baby and the dogs out. plus my shin splints are acting up. my legs hurt so bad. finally got them out of the house, so now naptime. hopefully.

 

heavy thunder out there but nothing worth watching.

 

seemed to rain all night here...regretted putting in that window a/c ...water drops right on it had to use earplugs to sleep a bit

might have to tape some foam to the top side of it to absorb the drops

 

rain slowed looked like its over...i think i might go try out my gun today on some paper targets...rain will keep away the blueberry pickers and the pit will be safer knowing no ones around

ate some steaks and grilled peaches, still hungry af... cotton candy kush probably not helping.. 104F heatindex. 94F currently.. Now I wish I had the pool. Thinking hard about it for next year, I can bring the deck off the one porch too, and semi surround the pool with a nice little deck and lattice fencing.

All bad news in entertainment lately. First prince fielder has a career ending injury. Then r2d2. There was other stuff but luckily the beer temporarily blocked it out.

i have no plans

maybe eat something and then probably go organize stuff in my shed so i can shove more hoard in there

 

I had a huuuge sleep.

Now I'm up rearing to go again but it's so late so I'll just, smoke some weed instead and watch some tv. I'm excited to see the new LA Rams okay tbh. I always liked St. Louis and I hate them Cowgirls so, go rams!

I've had my firecrackers, brought in clothes washed this am, and I'm fixing to go play and fiddle with Princess. I'm discovering the world of the fast internet.

I have to make myself stop and go do other things.

I've discovered I can learn all kinds of things about the actors on the tv shows I like WHILE I watch them on tv. I can learn about the show itself, the actors and just EVERYTHING.

this is amusing to me. you are saying you can learn all the ways to lose weight...but if you just sit there reading how to lose weight then you will never actually do the things required to lose the weight.

 

Got a weather station with a wind sensor... I didn't put it out today because I didn't want the wind to damage it.

i got a lightning detector but i keep it inside because lighting will destroy it.

sorry i am laughing as i write this but it is lightning today.

 

I've got a lighting rod system on my house... It got hit last summer and it stood my hair on end. I was out in the garage where all the cables terminate. Kinda like being inside a florescent tube.

 

damn that is funny and scary. reminds me of one time i was at work and lightning was happening in the distance. i could see it clear as day. and it was right near my house. of course i was quite a few miles from work so i didnt actually think that any lightening struck my house...until i got home and all my internet from the modem on was fried. the computer modem gone the spare computer modem gone the roku...gone. the xbox....woo hoo for some reason i dont know why now but it was not hooked up and only those first three machines were fried.
