Since 9/11, America has started wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya,and Somalia; the U.S. has conducted counter-terrorism operations in 82 countries, and drops a bomb on someone somewhere on Earth every 12 minutes. The U.S. has killed bare minimum of 801,0000 people (for every civilian bombed or shot, 4 die from war-related hunger and disease) and made 37,000 refugees at a cost of 6.4 trillion dollars. The World Bank estimates that we could eliminate world hunger for $7 billion a year. In other words, for the cost of GWOT, we could've ended world hunger for the next 914 years.
