I think they do, but to build house require specila permit, and to do it for the homeless is soemthing for the state to do not the population.
They have registered the homeless and know where its most needed and know where the land thats fre to can build on is, and can build houses or buildings for the homeless and take care of all the administrastive to move them there and got them registered as well.
Giving money to kids with cancer is more rewarding for celebreeties and easier to get them to do so, than to soem stinky homeless, anonyms faces nobody knows about. It isnt an insitution you can give money into, so it is often ignored.

Thats a job for the government to do. Thats the government responsability to do so and the population to crave it from their government.

 

Well, if we didn't go to war, that money could have been used in that way. Even if we didn't go to war, the State isn't going to do it.

am i supposed to be impressed that a kid gives clothes to homeless seems pretty dumb and pointless but I guess that might "hurt his feelings" Either that but i kinda drunk

You are right in this, thats why it will take people to walk in the street and crave this to be done by the government or they will never do it.
Only if it count for voters, then it count for them..

But are people sensibiliesed enough about the issue to do so? Or do they think like they dont care and the people are there because it is their fault or some idea like that?
JUst take 3% of what this war costed so far, and you have solved the house problem of the homeless in all states.
I even think that 3 % is overated so much it has costed..
