Basically my name's Nyika (ny-e-ka) but some people have a problem with saying that, so i get called Ny a lot. And my surname is Suttie, so Suts came from that!

If my dad was a girl, he would have been called Nyika, but he wasn't, so the name was passed down to me. It comes 2 places in Africa. The Tangenyika lake and the Nyika plateau. Neither of my parents have been to these places, but the story is that my Grandparents were looking at a map of Africa because my Grandad moved about because of his job and they liked. I also have an aunt called Sinoia! Nyika means little world in Afrikaans, which is pretty cool.

It seems I am the only person in the family willing to pass down unusual names, so my children will be along the lines of Indigo, Willow, Autumn, Miles and Sorrel! (Although i don't want THAt many!)

The movie Willow, the main character Willow is some kind of hobbit/midget, so I have to think of him whenever I hear that name now :tongue:. Awesome fantasy stuff in my opinion!
