The speed,processing power and memory capacity of today's computers have largely reached or surpassed the needs of most home users.I don't really see how far the manufacturers can go next...That's their problem...Not mine.

A much under-rated calculation device, at least here in the west, where we tend to think of it as a small child's play thing. However, a well trained operator can usually do just about any calculation you care to name at least as quickly as you can punch it into your pocket calculator, and usually quite a lot quicker.

Inequality

 

I think Karma will take care of people on Earth and if the people on Earth take care of our planet, we will be able to eventually have contact with others in the Universe. Hopefully it will be a good experience and we will be able to learn from "the aliens". Life (in general) is taken for granted too often by those who are more fortunate (regarding health and money) and many people don't "wake up" until they have a reason to (health or financial problems).

As for "everything", I'll leave that comment for the next poster! I'd run out of space if I'd start writing about "everything"!

 

It's like when someone says is "Everything" okay? I'm like...Well...A few things are okay...But "Everything?"...

What do you think of this 2012 "It's the end of the World" crap...Mayan prophecies and the switching of the magnetic poles etc...It's really getting me down...

i am prepared to accept the return of the mayan god (good, evil, or alien) return of Jesus, and any other event. to me none of it matters, bring it on - in fact i would welcome it.

Unfortunately it will probably be. a culmination of revolution , civil unrest, natural & man made disasters, food shortage, war, and other predicted events.

If everything is truly karma, & no empire lasts forever, than the Hopi, native indians, all the innocent ppl from Nam till today being victim to the military industrial complex , will have their day.

I live in London where we have one of the largest concentration of cctv surveillance cameras in the world.The theory is that If you're not doing anything wrong,you've got nothing to worry about.However I think it creates a certain kind of paranoia in itself and you end up feeling that you are potentially being spied upon at all times,as in a virtual panopticon.

do you still use pencils for writing [as opposed to drawing]or is it always a pen for you?

 

If I'm doing a drawing in pencil I might makes some notes alongside it,but no I generally write in pen.
