I used to hate coffee. Then I put sugar in it. Now I drink instant at work if I'd flagging, and also at uni if it's getting late and I need a pick up. Tried the real stuff but it's too bitter for me, I need 2 and a half sugars for real coffee and just 1 sugar in instant, so not only in instant easier to make, it's better for my teeth too ^^ Sort of..
Oh, so you drink your coffee without water too? Not sure I like the sound of a milkshake without any flavor...
I've been known to munch on a bean or a dozen cupful worth.... And not the chocolate coated ones, either. Drinking another black espresso now.
i'm a total coffee fiend... i don't think i could wake up without it (there's been a few poorly planned out camping trips this year that have left me without coffee and it sucks) my boyfriend and i usually switch between folger's and maxwell house every can... we can't really afford anything special unfortunately. i also have like a hierarchy of to go coffee in my head - like mcdonald's has greeeeeaaat coffee, timmie's is second, gas stations come third, and lastly, a&w. a&w tastes like thick motor oil. i don't really eat a lot of "fast food" i'll usually go in to specifically grab a coffee or tea.
I love coffee but I hate it when I drink it after an hour or two i start to crash and get all shaky and what not
I drink it pretty much every day and no matter where I get it, it doesnt really have a rich coffee flavor. Most of it tastes like brown water and even the coffee kiosks around are about the same. Once in awhile when I travel,I'll get some that has a real good rich flavor---this is hard to describe--but does anyone know of an an EXCELLANT rich tasting coffee that can be bought----somewhere?
Instant coffee is shyte and Nestle is an immoral company. They sell formula to African women. Breast milk is the best start a baby could have in a country like that. Not to mention the formula is often mixed with dirty water.... Just to complete my jackass hippie save-the-world snobfuck post, I will say that whenever possible I buy free trade beans and prefer a medium-dark roast. I make my coffee with a french press and drink it with rice milk and agave nectar.
<3 I drink coffee because I love the taste.. pick up is nice.. jitters are useful at work I grew very fond of instant coffee as well when I was traveling around NZ at the hostels, and made getting really good stuff all the better.
in my ideal world i'm buying green beans - ethiopian harar or something even nicer from yemen, whatever looks good from indonesia - i like sweet marias as a source because they're careful and honest and detailed then i'm firing up one of the roasters [air poppers, popeil rotisserie w/ basket, or simply a saucepan over a high flame] in the basement and making the perfect mocha-java blend in my ideal world i've got a gas range so i'm brewing in a vacuum pot, and the coffee is an elixir in the real world i have to use food stamps at the grocery store so i'm buying the bulk stuff which was roasted a month or two ago and came from god-only-knows where and costs twice as much [yemen aside] as the good stuff and boiling water for a swissgold drip thingamajig, and the coffee is, well, barely acceptable - why can't i keep a thrift store french press for longer than a week before i break the damn glass? [sucks to be a moneyless snob]
haha nice :2thumbsup: I used to drink this amazing colombian coffe (can't remember the name), but now I have no money
