I think it's a pirate radio am music broadcast . It comes up sporadically for 10 min at a time , and plays on the frequency of a talk-radio station when that main signal is weak . It's clang music , minimalistic , featuring a trance-rhythm . The primary instrument seems to be like a large metal coffee can . When the clang is most sparse there is also a small complimentary drum rhythm quick and sharp . I've heard several variations . The following notates the latest song - all clang ... xxxx xXxx xX xxxx xXxx xX xxxx xXxx xX xxxx That sequence ends with a clever twist , but really I've only heard it once . To notate this syncopated ending might only be a reasonable guess , like xxXx XxX x . Ha !! Pirates !! Love it .
